Really good food and wine list. The salads as an appetizer are very large so order a 1/2 portion which you can as long as you order an entree. They had a fish dip appetizer that was a special and great. The varous entree specials are always good as well as the schnitzel. Great service and always busy so make a reservation. Dessert tray always had good selection.

Have met here for brunch a couple of times. It's in the parking lot of a strip mall but rather nice inside. Service has been prompt, pleasant, and professional (Peggy seemed extraordinarily friendly and happy to be at work). Food has been wonderful... their version of eggs benedict is especially decadent! It's a little bit pricey, but there is a great selection of breakfast, lunch, and brunch food, all well prepared fresh and from scratch. A pretty extensive menu, actually. Weekends features an all you care to drink mimosa or bloody Mary for one price option. Has been quiet enough that we can actually converse. Cannot comment on dinner options, but this is a wonderful place for brunch.

I have been going to this restaurant for many years now. My office was in Davie and having a lot of European employees made this a natural choice for lunch. I am always impressed by the consistently good food that Per manages to put out. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices quite fair. In short this place has that uniquely Danish "hyggelig" quality. My wife, who is Czech, and I sometimes drive far out of the way from the beach where we live in Fort Lauderdale to this outstanding cafe. They have a very attractive discount on wines on Monday and Tuesday and an outstanding wine list to begin with. Their everyday specials range from fresh Florida grouper to anything you can imagine and all at a good price. My wife always teases me because I almost always order the frikadeller with red cabbage and the little cucumber slices in vinegar. Great food, fair price, nice surroundings, friendly help. Do yourself a favor and try this place. It is a bit hard to find but worth the effort. Now if I could only pronounce 'hyggelig" which sounds like hooglee to me.

I only recently had lunch in this unexpected touch of European sophistication in suburban Davie, the first time back in several years and was frankly surprised that the restaurant managed to survive so long in an area of town better known for fast food and chain eateries. My lunch of grouper with a pesto sauce was as tasty and perfectly prepared as the dinners I recalled from years before. The long time staff provide friendly but professional service that only enhances the experience.
