“Excellent one-level roomy rental for family of 6. Only minor issues.”
It was beautiful. We loved the one-story layout... all the bedrooms heading into the one central living room. It meant that while everyone had their own space, one wasn't more than a step away from the hang out area. This is the first time we have been down to Florida and NOT stayed in a hotel or a Disney resort. And we LOVED it. We definitely loved having a nice cozy open place to be our base camp (we were doing mostly Busch Garden/Seaworld theme parks). Our two girls loved having their own rooms, and my oldest son loved the Playstation (though we also brought our game system for more family fun). My youngest loved the kiddie room and the stuffed toy octopus. And we all felt spoiled having a pool we could use at a moment's notice!
It had a few noisy surprises, but what's a vacation without a little adventure! (Make sure you know how to operate a pool alarm, and the ADT alarm randomly went off one night until we found the breaker to stop it). The property management company did a 'B+' job in responding to our calls. At the time, they were also reseeding the front yard which made things a little muddier than normal at times.
With that said, it was a great, relaxing, and fun week. We are definitely doing 'vacation rental' again. On our next Disney-only trip, we're seriously contemplating ditching the expensive Disney vacation resort stuff and doing this rental again. Great time!
Liked best:
Room layout and heated pool. Air hockey in garage a plus!
Liked least:
One next to last night, loud loud security alarm went off late at night, twice.
