Excellent Resort Hotel! The Resort is located a far from the city of Orlando, but there were some major eating places and a Publix near the resort. This resort is perfect for large or small conferences. I would not stay here on my vacation because it is too far from the outlet stores, certain theme parks, the mall and downtown Orlando. It is a very beautiful place to stay and the staff are very friendly. I would only recommend this hotel to people who are traveling because of business.

We booked this hotel just 24 hours before we checked in and only paid $106 so we didn't no there wS a $16 car parking charge plus $20 extra for use of hotel amenities so a extera $40 with tax as we got this hotel at a good rate we couldn't complain the hotel is very clean and hotel staff very polite and friendly there is also a lazy river and pool which we didn't get chance to use as we only stayed for 1 night but we was also lucky enough to stand about 10 ft away from the alligator that in the water on the golf course

A business conference that actually impressed me, not just my company, but the location as well. I go to these events and hotels typically not expecting much. Well, I was surprised to find fine staff, good dining, a workout facility that met my needs, and more.

I usually only review a hotel that has provided an exceptional experience. The 4 night stay(12/29/13-1/2/14) we experienced at this hotel is exceptional by the fact it was the worst experience we've ever endured for such a highly rated resort!
I've read through some of the reviews and notice that many of the high reviews are from first time reviewers. It makes me wonder if they have ever stayed at any other 4 or 5 star hotel. The hotel we experienced should not be above a 2 star.
The rooms are average at best. There were no amenities (shampoo, lotion, etc.) in our room on arrival. The next morning, I wanted coffee, but there was only black tea and no sugar. Bad enough, but that is some of the better points. Before going to bed, we turned on the heat and set it at 75. We woke up cold (67). Try taking a shower! Upon contacting the desk, they said they would send up maintenance. An hour later, still a no show. We suffered through a shower because we needed to go meet friends. Came back in the evening to a cold room (69). Said maintenance found no issues. Next morning, 64 in the room. Same story, will send maintenance again. Suffered through another shower. Wife was not happy!!! Went out for the day, came back to a cold room. Went down to the desk and asked to be moved. Said they were booked full. Finally, which was a little too late, they sent up a small room heater that they use at the desk. See picture. I was quite surprised that they offered no comp, discount or other good will. I've stayed at Omni hotels, but this experience will send my dollars elsewhere.
There was also a wedding reception the first night during our stay. There was cake on the floor to our room and at the elevator. The next morning when we went out, the cake was still there. That evening, the cake was still there. I asked the desk if they could possibly clean it up, they sent someone that cleaned around the elevator, but the cake down the hallways was still there on the day we left (4 days later).

Very nice facility with excellent amenities. The Villas are lovely and very spacious, but the concierge at the villas was rarely around or particularly helpful. Workout facility in main building is outstanding with great equipment. Pools are very nice. Terrific lazy river for kids as well as "beach" area. Breakfast buffet was great as well. Overall very nice but relatively far from Orlando and the convention center area.

Upon arrival at the Omni Championsgate, you expect big things. You walk into the lobby, and you are wowed by the size and elegance. Unfortunately, the rooms are much less exciting. They are pretty standard. The "fast" internet isn't worth the money. I had major plumbing issues, and it took four reports to get them fixed. I was never offered anything other than an apology. Trevi, one of the several restaurants was ok, if not great. Zen was phenomenal. Some of the best sushi I've had, and the Pork Belly Tacos at David's were amazing. The biggest issue I had as a person staying there with a convention was that it seemed at all turns that the resort was surprised by how many of us there were, even though they had to know that the hotel was sold out. Lines were shockingly long at every turn, and it always seemed that they were understaffed.

Hotel is isolated from restaurants and attractions. In house dining options are too small for convention groups. Room was stained - carpet. Bath towel and washcloth were dirty. One lamp was broken another was a fire hazard as bulb had already melted part of shade.
