There's a little bit of everything here. BBQ's, beaches, parking, nature and much more. Watch the huge cruise ships come in and out of Fort Lauderdale. I loved this park! Not the best beach by any means but definitely worth it. Cheap parking.

One side Beach and Ocean, other is view of nearby cruise port. Towering ships line up, performing fire drills before voyage. Lots of parking, picnic areas. Flight pathway is overhead from FLL. Good for a beach day or to observe harbor traffic. Boat/Bike rental closed. Concessions closed.

It is a good value at $6 for the whole day. Parking just south on Dania Beach will cost you $1.75 per hour if you're lucky enough to find a spot on the weekend. The jetty is open and you can walk out to the end, watching boats, freighters, and cruise ships entering and exiting Port Everglades. It is a pretty cool experience.

Very comfortable lots of bathrooms. I didn't go swimming. I walked around a bit. But I saw people launch their boats, ride their bikes, and were grilling their picnics with the provided grills. There is a restaurant. It is a state park which they charge. Which might keep the crowds out.

Had a wonderful time just sitting at the boat launch in the bay. We had 3 hours to spare before our flight. its 10 min from Ft Lauderdale airport. really relaxing and enjoyable. Just no speeding there. The Park police hide with radar guns.
