Centrally located to Highway, Airport, Beaches, Restaurants and shopping.
RE:: Cosmetic Upgrades-- carpets showing wear and tear,, but " regular carpet cleaning " would go far to improve the overall appearance of the carpets in common areas.
Mattress too soft.. maybe time for replacements to be done.
Breakfast area very clean, food assortment good and replenished regularly.
Overall appearance of Hotel nice .
Staff friendly .

Room Tip: Speak with Hotel staff regarding type of room that would meet your criteria for comfort and overall...

Pros: Easy access to i95, reasonable rates, free parking, free Internet, rooms are in great shape and clean. There is a pool but I didn't try it.

Cons: Small selection for breakfast, and even those aren't replenished. No queen beds... Either two doubles or King. No immediate restaurants.. You have to drive about 10 minutes. Fridge costs extra unless you get suite. Ridiculous prices for drinks (1.50 for a can or 2.50 for a small bottle). Hallways and elevator were hot and stuffy

This inn was close to the airport and easy to find. They had shuttle service from the airport that was convenient and free that supposedly runs on the hour- (luckily for us it was a little late!). Check-in was a snap with the professional behind the counter. She was very pleasant and willing to help.
The lobby was clean and bright with very bright lime green colors throughout. It was well appointed with a couple of chairs and 2 computers for guests use. There was also a place to buy tickets for attractions and I believe you could also rent a car there. There is a EXTREMELY small in-house store that sells almost nothing. (A couple of kinds of beer, small bottles (one glass size) of wine in a cup and a few sodas- and not much else!) That was very disappointing.
Also on the main floor is the breakfast area with quite a few tables and a TV. Breakfast was impressive and plentiful. Fruits, cereals, breads, coffee, juice to name a few items and very attentive staff for replacing what ran out (and there were quite a few guests on the morning we were there!)
The pool area was nice with umbrella's and tables and there was even a hot tub, but no food or beverages were allowed. The gym is small but convenient by the pool.
Our room was impressive with a small fridge, microwave, coffeepot, 2 tv's and a king sized bed. It was very impressive and clean. Bright green curtains and carpets throughout. In our room, the shower curtain was short and almost didn't keep the shower water in the tub and the towels were a little thin. Overall, the room was just fine with very comfortable beds.
The only downside of this hotel is there is no restaurant and no bar. They have directions to eateries that are close, but you definitely need a car to get supper! The only other thing I noticed was the carpets were stained in the hallways.

Room Tip: We were on the third floor and it was quiet.

First of all, this Hotel is located super close to the Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It was very obvious that many people lodge here. It was well staffed. The employees were VERY friendly, professional, attentive to all your needs, in order to insure that your stay was going to be pleasant. The room was super clean with all the amenities that one would need. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable. Everything was well lit and spacious and very quiet. They had a huge breakfast eating area downstairs on the first floor. The food was plentiful and the employees absolutely insured that every item was constantly stocked. However, there was no bar at this location. All in all a beautiful place to stay.

We stayed here 1 night before our cruise out of POM. It was a group of 15. Our rooms were all placed very closed to each other which was great. The shuttle was a great service that allowed us to do a little shopping and took you to a variety of restaurants especially since there is not much close to the hotel. The room set up was nicely spaced like a small studio. It was nice having the bed separated from the sitting area. The morning buffet had a good variety of food availble both hot and cold. I would definately stay here again. The

I recently used the Fairfield Inn at Ft Lauderdale Airport for an early morning flight to Puerto Rico. This is a larger then normal Fairfield and is in top notch condition. It is snap getting to the airport and I found this to be the most convenient Marriott brand property for utilizing the airport. My room cost was a super value. I would not hesitate in staying at this property again.

Used this hotel twice for departing and arriving into ft. Lauderdale airport. Checked in with a breeze and left our car there for a week with no extra charge, super convenient. Airport shuttle was on time and plenty of room. Lobby and rooms were clean and breakfast was the usual continental buffet. This is a very high traffic location, would not recommend for a relaxing vacation but perfect for traveling in and out of FLL airport.

Room Tip: We had a high level room, didn't hear much noise.
