Rooms are a little dated with window unit type air-conditioning in a humid environment (not highly effective). Breakfast unremarkable but nice they had it. If you want to be on the water walking distance from Crackers (nice place to eat/drink) and manatee tours this is the place to stay as there is not much else to choose from in Crystal River. If you want a newer place with a little drive to tours and right on the main highway (possible road noise) then Hampton Inn would be a better choice.... it all depends what you are looking for. If you plan to be in Crystal River any length of time I would suggest a vacation rental, but Best Western is great if you are looking for a shorter stay. We enjoyed the location.

Room Tip: There are a few rooms that you can actually get a peek of the water from, request them or you will not get them.

The front desk was friendly and checked us in quick. The breakfast was pretty meager but as expected. Fruit, breads, hot cakes, and yogurt....no meat. The property itself is showing signs of age. My biggest issue was the air conditioning in the rooms was insufficient. I spent half the night sweating and the kids room wasn't any better.

Crackers next door was a good place for dinner.

First off the hotel is nice and clean, great location and all out nice but the night time guy is the rudest I ever had to deal with, my father in law booked 2 rooms one for himself and the other for my wife and myself, my wife and I left the room to pick up some food and bring it back to the resort to eat, we decided to eat at the picnic table instead of the room, when we exited our vehicle we was stopped by an employee of the resort and asked if we was staying there, we told him yes and he asked our name, we gave him our name and he told us the room is not registered in our name so we cannot use the picnic table, we showed him our room key and gave him the room number and he was just all out rude, we cannot recamend this hotel as long as they hire employees like this, yes the hotel is real nice but if you cannot use the picnic table because of such a rude employee then it is not worth the money we spent on the room.

Spent just one night (by design) but was very happy with everything about the resort, I was clean, quiet, close to everything, had a nice pool, and really nice view form the small marina.

Did not eat the continental breakfast but it looked good

We booked this hotel as a base to explore the area for re-location. It doesn't look like much from the main road but when you drive to the rear of the hotel, it opens up to the bay. Our smoking (thank you BW!) room on the second floor was clean with average furniture, flat screen tv, mini fridge, microwave, table/chairs. The king bed was super comfortable. Our room overlooked the bay, the boat docks, and the sparkling pool. Next to the pool is a barbeque area with 3 large grills and picnic tables. You can walk on the pier at the rear of the hotel to go next door to Crackers, a fun restaurant with a patio bar and dining. While there is not much in this area, we enjoyed the ambience of this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the bay and pool
