I just want to thank all the staff. My husband and I come here every year. We do the manatees and snorkeling and now back into diving. I have to give a big thank you to John Blean he made our experience very enjoyable. It had been along time since we had dived and we needed all the patience one could give. We had many adventures with John on Rainbow River but this was the best. Thank you we will see you again in October.
Best attraction for our vacation. Captain Rodney & his co-captain “Awesome “ was knowledgeable & made it a fun trip. Definitely get FIVE star. Will do again.
I saw a lot of manatees and had a great time. I took my mother in law who was visiting from PA. She had been snorkeling before but not here. I was a total newbie. Inductions where clear, not that everyone followed them. I work at the Holiday Inn and am quick to recommend you. Now even more so.
The most important thing to say is, just do it! We used a Groupon and booked the experience for $20 per person plus the $20 mandatory wetsuit rental, so it was incredibly affordable for our group of 4. We signed the waivers, got our wetsuits on, then watched the 8-minute video about what to do and not do with manatees. Then we drove the 3 minutes to the boat landing where we got on the boat and headed out! Captain John did an amazing job of finding manatees! We went to two spots until we got out of the boat to look for the manatees, but after only seeing one, we went to Three Sisters Spring where there were several. Captains John and Bruce were very persistent in not stopping until we were all able to experience manatees. They were very knowledgeable about manatees and answered all our questions. This was honestly one of the coolest experiences of my life!
