This restaurant was suggested to us by two different Crystal River residents. That afternoon, Saturday, we decided to check out the scenic ten mile drive on West Ozello Trail, from Highway 19, to Peck's Old Port Cove near the end of the trail. We arrived at Peck's and noticed a full parking lot and knew we would be in for a treat on Sunday, the day we decided to dine at Peck's. We continued driving around the small fishing community before returning to Crystal River. So, on Sunday around 3:00 P.M., we returned to Peck's for our much anticipated meal. The menu offered various steaks, seafoods, sides, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers; however, my husband and I settled on the shrimp and grits. So delicious and spicy!! Again, the restaurant was full of diners, but we received our meal timely, plus the staff did a good job following up with drink refills and seeing to our overall satisfaction. Also, even though the interior of Peck's is typically rustic as would be expected in a fishing village, I noticed nothing of concern that would require a less than excellent rating for Peck's.
