“Great snapper”
Reviewed April 6, 2014 via mobile

Visited for lunch had wonderful Taco salad, sat outside and took in the views across Crystal River. Other food fried much the same as, fried fish, fried chicken, with fries or fried onion rings, but it was plentiful and filling.
Limited to where we could eat, after a long day on the river. Went back for evening meal. Sat inside as the midges were out in full force. Had the daily special, Asian Snapper, very delicious although portion was enormous I couldn't do it justice. Reasonably price too. Only negative point was the smells of the frying when in door dining.

“Don't waste your time and money!”
Reviewed April 6, 2014 via mobile

Went to Crackers for fresh seafood, what a disappointment! Waited forever to be seated, they were busy but we could see empty tables. Once seated we ordered drinks, a beer for me and a Hurricane for my wife. The beer they brought me was so cloudy you couldn't see through it, and tasted terrible. My wife's Hurricane was a Margarita which we sent back. Twenty min later they brought another drink but it wasn't a Hurricane. We waited at least thirty min for them to take our dinner order. We ordered grilled seafood platters. Forty-five min later they brought our dinners. We asked why it took so long and they told us that grilled seafood takes longer (BS). Our baked potatoes were only half cook and we sent them back. The fish was raw, but by this time I just wanted out of this place. We ate the cooked half of our dinners and waited for our bake potatoes, which arrived twenty min after we finished our food. We complained about the food and the manager refunded us $6.00 on a eighty dollar bill. Never again!!!

“Not worth it”

Terrible service, average food, blah atmosphere. Don't waste your $$. We found other places in the area with better water views, food, atmosphere, & service.

“Very Disappointed!”
Reviewed April 1, 2014 via mobile

We stop for lunch after a long drive, hoping for some great seafood. We order the fish dip to start came in a little plastic cup with some crackers like 6 :(... The fish dip tasted like a bad mayo fish dip. We also had grouper on a Caesar salad . Also very disappointed with the salad was just romaine lettuce a few croutons and a small piece of fishy tasting grouper.

“Tasty Lunch & Great View”
Reviewed March 30, 2014

Charlie's looked crowded as we passed through Chrystal River so we stopped at Crackers. My husband & I were greeted warmly and shown to a table in front of a window with a great view.. We would've enjoyed being outside but it was raining. We had a clear view of the river, deck, tables & bar outside and will definately be back n a sunny day!

Our server was very friendly and, when asked what was fresh & looked best coming out of the kitchen, she was quick to recommend the blackened grouper sandwich. We trusted her, ordered two & were so glad because it was delicious!! We ate every crumb!!

We left Crackers feeling full but also very satisfied that we had enjoyed a super lunch that was fresh & tasty, served to us in a very pleasant manner, with a great view and at a reasonable price.
