We stopped in on Thanksgiving Day. Despite seating being reservation only, they worked us in. Super friendly and took good care of us. Homemade bread pudding was one of the best things we ate on our trip. Enjoyed the fried shrimp.

William and Pam Bunch are part of Crystal River life and look after people well. My parents ate here every Sunday for many years. This is a simple place without expensive frills. As well as the restaurant, Oysters does an external catering service. This is southern cooking with a nicely cooked fish dishes, chicken, steaks etc and of course oysters. Many locals and many repeat travellers eat here.

Shabby decor, dry most likely frozen fish, and dead flies on the window sill took my appetite..I think this is a family run business that really needs help !

Left hotel at 930 and couldn't find a decent place that wasn't packed on a sunday morning. made it thru crystal river and was going to go to grannies but was packed to, seen this place (not busy) decided WHY NOT.....this place didn't look amazing from the outside, but wasn't a dump. was seated right away and the waitress told us the brunch was still setting up ,told us the price 1199 with drink, what was on it,and told us it would be about 15 min or we could order from the menu.we both decided to try it. salad bar had very few items but was fresh enough.2 soups(vegi beef and new england clam chowder)tried vegi, didnt really like.it did have fresh beef and fresh cut vegis in it though. had baked and fried cod, fried chicken, baked meatloaf, mac and cheese, greens, green beans, short ribs, turkey and dressing, sweet potatoes, fried shrimp, clams and fettuccine, rolls and corn muffins(waitress says menu changes week to week)Everthing was fresh and hot, everything was cooked great and had great flavor.had no complaints. waitress was very accommodating .tried the Homemade bread pudding was OK ,but no custard more like a soupy sauce still had good flavor. would recommend, would go back. Bathrooms were in need of cleansing and the door didn't lock, walls near table need to be wiped down and fixtures need a little tlc to keep sanitary,Only complaints.

After spending the day on the water with Capt Z he told us about this place we could take our fish too and they would cook for us. We called the rest of the family and had them meet us there. For $8 each they cooked our fish and supplied the fries, corn on the cob and hushpuppies. The waitress was very nice and made sure we had plenty to drink. (After a day on the boat in the hot sun that was no easy task). There were 11 of us total. We left very full and enjoyed eating our fresh from the bay fish! Nothing fancy here, but that's ok with us!
