We had talked about going to Florida to swim with Manatees for years and finally decided to do it this winter. They cluster near certain hot springs in the cold winter months so timing was very important. We read numerous reviews online before choosing Capt. Tim and Family Adventure Charters. We wanted to go out early before the other snorkelers, and we wanted a small boat; more private type of tour. Dustin was our boat's captain, and he was Great! He knew so much about the nature and ecology of the area, and how to have the best possible experience in the water with the manatees. He took us to where there were large numbers of manatees and for about 90 minutes we floated in the water and interacted (only when the manatees wanted to interact; one has to be respectful of them in their home!) with one to three manatees at a time. The young were especially playful, and one even came up from below us and took each of us for a brief ride! Another gave my wife a kiss for her 31 ½ yr marriage anniversary. They supply wet suits and the boat was clean. They worked hard to make sure we had a terrific experience from the moment we arrived to the time we left.

What a great experience!! Captain Bill was a great guide and very personable. He helped me over come my fears of jumping in and swimming with the manatees. So glad I did! We also saw Dolphins, turtles and tons of fish. Had a wonderful day with my family.

What a great time and very affordable! This is a small group tour and really makes the experience all the better not only for us but for the animals. My group was able to encounter more manatees than could have ever expected. We had a very knowledgable guide bill who was able to answer all our our questions about the animals, river, and other local attractions. Not only did we get to enjoy the manatees, we also saw all different types of fish and dolphins!! This is a great family activity and I will always cherish the memories I have gained from this experience.
