We requested a patio room with a river view for a four-night stay. They put us in the Jasmine building in the middle of a golf group. They were noisy, drunk, and smoking cigars in a non-smoking building. The room was out-dated and the patio was a joke. There was one chest with very small drawers for the two of us for four nights. We asked to be moved.
They moved us to the Orchid building and it was so much nicer. The chest still only had four drawers but the were nice and deep. The patio had a hedge and was much nicer. The refrigerator was much bigger. DO NOT STAY in the Jasmine building.
Other issues, the ice maker in our building did not work our entire stay, the carpet in both building was worn & stained, the Jacuzzi heater was not working, We had to go to the front desk twice to get TP because the cleaning lady did not leave us any. The pool has hard plastic lounge chairs with no cushions.
The restaurant & bar are very nice, and the food and service is good.
We were told the Inn was owned my the bank for a number of years and the new owners are in the process of renovating it. This is a beautiful location that has a lot of potential once all the renovations are complete.
