My boyfriend and I had lunch and dinner at the "Crystal river Ale house" when we visit Crystal river in november 2012.
The food is good, and everything (food and drinks) you can have for a good and cheap price.
But the best part is the service. The waitresses are so nice, and they really make you smile and happy.

Outstanding view, good service. We split 3 apps. Nothing to right home about. Same old Sysco Foods stuff. However they did have six craft beers, my wife and I each had a craft from a Gainesville Brewery and that was good enough on a nice afternoon.

My gf & I came here because we've been to several Ale Houses. Food is general food, good. View is gorgeous if you sit outside....

It's right on the river, so sitting out on the back deck you have a great view. That's where the positives end. Ales on tap are the same as you can find anywhere else with maybe a couple exceptions. Food prices, portions, and flavors are all just par at best. Given that it's right on the river, the number of seafood choices on the menu seemed tiny. The little Indian food menu insert felt very out of place.

Overall, I got the sense that this place just doesn't know what it wants to be--pub, dive bar, fish house, Indian. It's like they're trying to appeal to everyone and failing to excel at anything.

Not a huge selection of choices but what food they offer is good. The view over the Kings Bay is excellent and very relaxing while you are enjoying your meal.
