I booked snorkelling with manatees on groupon however was very easy and seadaddys booked me in with no problems!

They take the safety of the manatees very serious which is wonderful! We had brandy as our tour guide, she was very friendly making sure everyone was okay and very good with our son (13).

We were advised due to the time of year there were not many manatees around however we did find two! One swam right under me and my son also touched one! I would highly recommend this experience, it was worth every penny!

We headed to crystal river a few weeks ago to do some scalloping. The company we previously used for manatee trips ( majestic manatees ) has been purchased by SeaDaddys so we decided to give them a try and we’re very pleased with our decision. They were warm, friendly, and accommodating. Our guide was not seasoned in scallop diving but he did a great job with us. We spent the day trying a few spots and techniques as far as locating the little tasty guys and no doubt the season has been tough for numbers. We chose to dive instead of snorkel for them this year and we’re very very glad we did. The new company is still in process of taking over the shop and getting settled which is something to take into consideration right now. The boats are rough and need work & the current shower situation at the shop is not like it used to be when majestic manatee owned it ( it was perfect) and it’s is not good right now but hopefully will be soon, but overall the personality of the people taking care of us, esp our guide Ron , far made up for it . ( side note we’re not fancy divers ) we didn’t come for 5* showers and luxury yachts , we came for fun people, great diving , and hoping for a little meal to take home from the ocean and seaDaddys provided just that! We will definitely be back to scallop with them again and we would definitely recommend our new crystal river friends :-)

My husband and I took 4 of our kids on a surprise scuba diving with Manatees trip while we were on vacation in Orlando. it was only a little over 1 1/2hr drive from Orlando and worth every second of it. Its all our kids talked about the rest of the trip and since we've gotten home. Candy was great with check-in and making sure we knew the rules, Captain Ken was funny and took us to the right places on the river and our swim lead Brandy was amazing with our little ones and getting us as close as we possibly could to multiple manatees including a mama and baby. We went during the off-season and the kids are begging us to go back when the manatees come in from the Gulf. We will definitely be back here in the future! Thanks for helping us make great memories with our kids!
