It was getting late although the restaurants on Anna Maria Island were still packed with tourists as usual. We crossed the Cortez bridge and immediately came upon the "Seafood Shack" (another family had told us about it). I was surprised that it wasn't busier, although I believe their somewhat hidden location is responsible. Water views are everywhere and the staff are most courteous. Most importantly, the food was delicious! Fresh Grouper and Scallops with side dishes even with the sandwich meals which were very inexpensive compared to restaurants on Anna Maria Island proper. There is a full bar to boot!
