They offered great German-style food and great beers. The owners were always very friendly. Too bad they shut down the operations. I believe the location was not too good. Not enough foot traffic.

We love Old Vienna! My husband tries a different dish every time and has nothing bad the say about the food. I usually go fr the jaeger chicken or some meat coated in the sauce and I could lick the plate clean every time. The potato soup is delicious, along with the German salad. The red cabbage is always tender, the spatzle is fresh, the potato dumplings and potato pancakes are heavenly along with the sour kraut. The atmosphere is kitschy and a fun evening. They have good German beer on tap that can come in the world famous boot. We have never had a bad meal there or bad service. We always clean out plates and leave there with a smile on our faces.

We found the Old Vienna Restaurant by accident as we were traveling along the Sawgrass Expressway and looking for a place for dinner. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quick and friendly service and outstanding food. The restaurant tries very hard to please and succeeds...we give it an A+ in all areas. The cozy ambience inside is very relaxing and our waitress came back frequently to see if we needed anything. We plan to return regularly from now on.

At the last minute, my husband decided that we should go out for New Years Eve....we're early diners and called this restaurant at 5:00 and arrived for a 6:00 reservation. We've lived in this area for 30 years and never tried it...WHAT A NICE SURPRISE! It is a cute little store front-styled restaurant decorated with an Austrian flair; waitresses are dressed in peasant-styled shirts...which together gives an authentic feel of Austria....the ambiance reminded us of our recent trip to Salzburg. The waitress, Stacy, was very helpful and friendly...
She gave my husband a sample of 2 beers so he could decide which to order. We had salad and shared chicken schnitzel (fried chicken) and salmon...with an array of sides and a basket of bread. The restaurant treated everyone to a free glass of champagne...nice touch....since it was New Years Eve. The waitress 'talked' us into a decadent dessert...it was very good...a crepe with chocolate mousse tucked inside topped with drizzled chocolate, confectioners sugar and a variety of fresh berries....
It was a lovely evening which reminded us of our trip to Austria....for a brief moment in time we were on vacation again....and didn't have to get on an airplane....
The cost for two dinners, a large beer, a shared dessert and two coffees was around $50. for the two of us...Good value, I say!

My husband and I both enjoyed this place. The service was prompt and efficient, the food was tasty and the prices very reasonable. I don't know why people were complaining about regarding the service, we were sat upon being received at the door, our waitress was very knowledgeable about the whole menu, and after bringing our beers with a basket of bread and a cheese spread, we also got the food we had ordered without having to wait longer than usual.
The places is decorated more in that kind of rural and cozy style that you find outside of Vienna, not in the impressive Baroque and Art Nouveau that one sees everywhere in the city, which we found very charming.
We enjoyed our dinner at Old Vienna and we will definitely be back.
