Beautiful hotel! Great location with beautifully decorated and very comfortable rooms. Bathrooms are wonderful. Entire hotel was spotlessly clean. Great pool/spa area. Very nice staff. Parking could not have been more convenient! It is about $15 a day which is actually quite reasonable (downtown hotels can be $25+) Rooms have a coffee maker plus a mini bar with a little extra room for our items. We couldn't get the room quite as cold as we wanted. We didn't like the charge for the internet - ridiculous - should be free. It is a less than a five minute walk to Miracle Mile for great shopping and restaurants (Barnes and Noble, Starbucks, etc all have free internet) If you want wonderful Cuban food, go to Sergio's - about mile from the hotel on Coral Way next to McDonald's.
Great hotel at a great price on Priceline Name Your Own Price!!

Stayed for two nights in late January for a small conference at the conference rate of $209 + tax which included free wifi.

Hotel is fine - standard upper end business class. It's close to the airport ($16 cab ride) and there are plenty of shops, eating places, bars etc around it.

Didn't use the pool or gym. The only issue is that the internet was sloooow. It wasn't only me. It was a general complaint at the conference. The slow internet costs it a star.

We have stayed at this hotel several times while our daughter attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables and returned most recently this January when taking a trip to Jamaica and stayed in Miami to catch an early flight there.

The hotel is located about 2 blocks from Miracle Mile, and is surrounded by a multitude of restaurants both high end chains like Mortons, Ruth Chris and Houston's as well as many establishments serving local cuisine. It is on a quiet street and offers both valet and self park options is traveling by car. It is an excellent location for the airport ($20 care fare) since it is located right off LeJuene, which brings you directly to MIA if driving (10 minutes tops).

We have always booked a AAA rate room and with this comes a great breakfast for 2 (restaurant open at 6:30 if you have an early flight). We have stayed in a regular room, junior suites and a petite suite..all are spacious with great bathrooms and comfy beds. I love the brown and cream decor..it looks very rich and just like the pictures on their website. This past trip, I did the upgrade option and paid for a regular room but for $15 was upgraded to a petite suite which was the nicest room we have had so far with a 2 story palladium window leading to a small balcony and a superb view of the MIAMI skyline .

The pool area is also very nice though we didn't have a chance to use it this past trip so i cannot comment on it's water temp in January but has always been refreshing and a quiet spot to lounge on all of our other visits. Staff at the front desk are always friendly and accomodating and no matter what time we have arrived on each of our visits (sometimes 10AM), we have always gotten our room! There is a concierge right across from the front desk if you need dining suggestions.

It is located about 10 minutes from the University of Miami and a 15-20 minute drive from South Beach. You can enter UM from the back avoiding Rt 1 traffic. We will definitely return to this hotel for its superb location, great service and great value.

We stayed at this Hyatt because of its proximity to the airport before catching an early morning flight home from a Florida Keys vacation. We vallet parked our rental car with the hotel. The next morning, we called for our car, and found that the vallet had misplaced the keys. With our flight departing in little more than an hour, the hotel manager put us in a taxi and paid the taxi fare to the airport. We made our flight with time to spare. The hotel found the car keys, and returned the car for us to the rental company--they even arranged for a discount on our rental car bill. All I can say is what great service! We will definitely stay at this hotel whenever we are in Miami.

Dear jg5120:

I’m glad to hear the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables was able to assist you in making sure you were at the airport on time. I’m happy to hear in the confusion of the misplaced rental car keys, the hotel’s General Manager was able to make sure you were taken care of, and had an enjoyable stay. We look forward to welcoming you back with us again!

We were at Hyatt Regency Coral Gables for a week for Xmas, such an amazing hotel, beautiful rooms, the best location ever, if you like to shop and eat!!!We had a little problem with our room, and it was resolve in the moment we complaint, because of this, they gave me free breakfast (which was delicious) for me and my family, they did not charge me for internet or local phone calls. The service of Jonathan at the front desk was amazing!!!We will definitely go back!!I like Jennifer at front desk too, always trying to help!!!I loved the good service they gave us!!

We stayed at this hotel for the second year in a row for our Christmas. I got the room on priceline both times and the price was unbeatable. Here are the good and the bad:

Good: Large, clean and nicely decorated room, friendly and helpful staff, heated outdoor swimming pool, close walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops.

Bad: Slow and barely usable Wi-Fi ($10 a day), HDTV without HD programming, no free parking ($12.80 a day). These were really small complaints.

Overall, I thought it was a great value for the price we paid.

We stayed with our 3 teens in that fancy hotel nice rooms and really clean ! It would have been much nicer if they hadn't overbooked our room !! We got an upgrade but not our roll-away - what we asked for - so we ended up with sleeping with 3 people in one bed. They promised to bring lots of blankets and so we saw none of it !!! Of course the next day we got up with a broken back !!
Breakfast - you would think that they still had to go to the store to make breakfast ! The wait was really way too long !! After a long wait , the quality of this breakfast was really good !
Oh, yes we got a discount for their mistakes but that didn't made it up for it !!
