Description: With a man cave feel and in-house smoker that can be smelled from a block away, Swine has received a warm welcome to the Coral Gables neighborhood. Maintaining the same top-notch techniques and standards of hospitality as its sister restaurant, Swine offers a constantly evolving food and beverage menu that work together to create the perfect Southern meal in a down-home, feel good environment. "From the moment you walk in the door, you are completely transported out of Miami," Kunkel says. "Swine provides a full dining experience with an interior that reflects the refinement of the South." It feels barn-like because it is in fact made from reclaimed wood of an actual barn in South Carolina. Housed inside is the state-of-the-art smoker and wood-fired grills, adding a signature flavor and level of authenticity unique to the restaurant.

Wonderful place, eclectic decor, great service, amazing food. Bar offerings are excellent from signature cocktails to craft brews and great wine offerings. Food is prepared with amazing attention to detail and flavor. Everything is flavorful and unique in some way. Staff is professional and friendly. Be ready to spend though for dinner; lunch is not as expensive so that could be a good option. They don't yet take reservations, so arrive 30-45 mintues your planned dining time.

My business partner and I recently hosted a group of 8 on a Sunday evening here. The staff handled our large party seemingly effortlessly. We sat at the communal table, in the center of the restaurant, which I highly recommend. The table is set at bar height; the seats are bar stools. We had the feeling of being in the heart of the restaurant.

The restaurant's theme of "Run Pig Run" describes how I felt after leaving. Our group of eight ordered (and ate) enough for 12. Everything was just so good, we didn't want to to stop, well after we should have.

Some of the highlights include the smoked brisket. By far, this is the most tender and flavorful brisket I have eaten. Having grown up in an area where many local joints claim to have the best brisket around, the brisket here by far surpasses any I've eaten. it was so tender, it fell apart and could have been eaten with a spoon. The portion was way too small for our group, so we ordered two more of them. Even at that, eight people got about 3 small forkfulls each.

As for portion sizes in general, all were on the small size. If you are really hungry, don't expect to get filled up without ordering several side dishes.

The crispy brussel sprouts live up to their name; crunchy and delicious.

The kale salad here seems very similar (if not identical) to the kale salad served in this restaurant's sister restaurant (Yardbird), although I would order it each time in either place.

The decor of the restaurant includes firewood stacked high in several locations, which contributes to a relaxed and casual atmosphere.

Well they did it again, Swine is every bit as good as their other place Yardbird. Friendly staff at the front door, seated right away for Sunday brunch. Friendly waiter, knew his menu and explained everything so well. The bakery basket was wonderful, great selection, yummy cakes and breads and fantastic jam! The eggs were great, sausage wonderful, potatoes to perfection. Can't say enough good stuff about this place, oh, and it's fun to be there!

This place is hidden Jewels of restaurants in Miami. The ribs and BBB beans are delicious. There are no reservations, so if you go there on a busy night expect a long wait, but its worth the wait. ..
