Friends living in the area took us there for dinner. Good food with Italian flavor, friendly staff, fast service, great wine and good ambiance. We may return

“Rustic and cozy , good italian food”
Reviewed January 14, 2014 via mobile

We visited this place already a few times, and I love the decor and the food , we tried soups , salad , pasta and pizza , everything was quite good, and light , like in Italy , without feeling heavy or bloated . The reason why I don't give 5 stars rating is for the service , which is inconsistent , sometimes decent , but the last time we were shocked by the confusion among the servers that we decided to seat at the bar.

“Try harder...”
Reviewed November 17, 2013

A friendly and attentive staff are clearly trying to make a good experience for this trying to be hip/chic place, but in the end as for any restaurant, it is the quality of the food that is the definer. And, here, Cibo has to try harder. Our server touted the place as "...best and most authentic Italian food in Miami..." I doubt that, just on one basis of a vastly superior minestrone I had the night before nearby! And the rest of the meal was equally hardly best, nor authentic...never mind whatever city as measure. Sent back one dish and another pasta dish was very ordinary, and floating in olive oil.

Try harder!
