Not the traditional pizza we've come to think of. The pizzas were made in an open oven with the thinnest of crusts. They were delicious and not too bad of price. It was nice to have something different. Also a friendly manager and staff.

“To be a hotel bar, not bad at all. Good pizza, good wines.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

I like this place. It's convenient for us as many times we book the Mayfair Hotel, which is where the restaurant is located, and the waiters are always nice.
Good pizza, we had the margherita, simple and to the point, not too greasy, a perfect choice for lunch. That and a few glasses of sauvignon Blanc and we were good to go.

Even if you don't sleep at the Mayfair, if you are in the area, it's a good stop. At night, the bar is a good place to enjoy a scotch and chit chat with some of other hotel guests who are chilling inside when in the summer humidity starts taking a toll.

Breakfast buffet was superb. Waitress very attentive! Plenty of good food plus fresh juice and cappuccino.

“Rip Off for Miami Spice”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

** Cost of Miami Spice Menu exceeds ordering the same meals ala carte, many times by $6 - $12 dollars! ** My friend and I had treatments at the Spa the the Mayfair last Friday and having never tried Spartico which is in Mayfair's lobby we decided to drop in for a quick bite. We were surprised to learn that Miami Spice had started (very first day) so were delighted that we would get to try a new restaurant at a good deal. After seeing the Miami Spice menu and not being impressed with the options I requested a regular menu while my friend chose the Miami Spice options. After learning what she was going to eat i looked through the main menu and realized that if she ordered the exact same thing ala carte (vs MS menu) she would save about $8. The case was the same if we calculated with any other MS menu option compared with the ala carte. I brought this to the server's attention and he was very surprised. He quickly advised the manager (we saw him do so) but the manager seemed to dismiss the issue. I then asked to speak to the manager about it, believing that maybe it was a typo but the manager while he passed our table several times, never came by. Very dissapointing. I have worked in the restaurant business in the past and have never had a manager refuse to speak to a guest. To make matters worse the food we did order was extremely bland and looked very unappealing. Both of us left over half of our meals untouched. Will make certain that we never return again unless of course we are in the mood for those pre packaged crunchy breadsticks they serve, I regret to say that that was both the best part of the meal and of our overall experience. Miami Spice should think twice before letting such an establishment ruin what is touted to be a great dining experience at a fair price.

“fun cocktails, good pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

This place is cozy, open air and actually has decent prices for good food and drinks. We enjoyed hanging out here while staying at the hotel but enjoyed it so much we've returned even though we weren't staying at the adjoining hotel.
