“Truly exquisite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

I recently had dinner at Angelique Euro Cafe in Coral Gables as part of the Miami Spice promotion. I was pleasantly & delighfully surprised. The Miami Spice menu included choice of an appetizer, an entrée and dessert. For the appetizer, I had the Artisan salad while my friends had the Chorizo en vino. Both choices were exquisite. The salad was fresh and the home-made balsamic vinagrette dressing was tasty without being overwhelming. Now the chorizo con vino was 'to die for' (as per friends' comments) so tasty and savory they wouldn't share beyond a single small bite (the wine sauce was delicious with the bread). My entrée was the Coq Au Biére or braised chicken breast with root veggies in another delicious home made sauce. My friends had the Sirloin with roasted potatoes also very tasty and well done. I was totally delighted by my dessert which was the red velvet cake but then again I'm not a big fan of sweet desserts. We finished off the meal w/coffee.

The place has great ambiance and the staff is delightful. The also have a good wine list. Try their premium house wine (specials are written on a chalkboard behind the bar). Excellent price and value.

“A pleasant experience”

Nice & intimate setting. The cuisine was enjoyable, as were the wines. A fine selection of wines by the glass. Service was friendly.

“OMG”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2012

My husband and I thought we had died and gone to heaven when we ate at Angelique during Coral Gables Restaurant Week. Every dish was fabulous (and we are both foodies). The three-course menu is a great deal. Favorites were the moules et frites in the chorizo sauce, the Belgian beers, the crisp and flavorful house salad, and the creamy red velvet cake. Oh, and the french fries that came with the meals were just right. Our server, Jessica, was super-knowledgable and helped make the experience terrific. The outdoor dining created a nice, relaxing evening. We'll be back!

“Great Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2012

As stated before the ambiance of the restaurant is really nice, as we were strolling by Miracle Mile late Saturday afternoon we heard the Guitar and Flute playing Latin sounds and decided to have an impromptu Dinner, we had no information on this place, but a decent crowd usually is a good sign. we waited for a while for service, and finally received our menu, They had a Price Fix Menu and opted for that it was $28.00 plus $12.00 for sharing, we were not that hungry, started with the Chorizo al vino, the wine reduction was great, for main course we selected, the " Moules and Frites" with chorizo the Mussels and the broth were amazing, but the start for me was the raspberry bread pudding with white chocolate sauce, it was really good, Although the service was a bit slow, it was very attentive and all the wait staff was very knowledgeable, and helpful, the entertainment was great, the place is nice for a relaxed dinner with friends, the wine selection is great and the prices are reasonable, The one thing that bother me was the bit if attitude of the owners towards their employees, granted not my business, just those issues are better resolved behind closed doors not in front of the crowd.
Overall a nice place for a relaxed dinner

“Great food...service...ambience.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2012

Had a wonderful dinner at Anglique last night. The god was excellent and there was an extensive but unprtetntiois wine list. We sat outdoors listening to a fantastic guitar and flute duet playing Latin music. The best part was that the owners and staff made you feel like Family. A great dining experience.
