Want a beautiful, scenic, historic place where you can take awesome pictures? Then go here! The water is nice and cool which is just what you need in a hot Miami day. Oh, and they have a cave you can swim into. They have a nice snack bar too. It's located in the beautiful city of Coral Gables surrounded by huge shady trees and gorgeous houses. Go take a dip!

We visited it with friends and we had a good time enjoying the pool although was summer the water was a little cold. Try to get a table at the end if you want to take a break from the pool and have a snack or something.

This is a municipal-operated pool so you get many nice features such as lifeguards, changing areas, lockers, toilets, showers, and a café. However, the pool feels like you stumbled upon a natural pool. The water is refreshing and the landscape was great. There are not diving boards, but there is a cave and waterfall that can be explored.

We visited the Venetian Pool today, here's our thoughts & observations...we got there 20 mins before opening time (10 am) & there was already a short line. Parking will definitely be an issue if you don't get there early - just obey the signs & you'll be fine, plenty of space to drop the rest of family & belongings at the entrance so the driver can look for a space. The line is single file with what appears to be one cashier, birthday parties check in this line as well & take longer to process than a normal transaction - just be patient :) Restrooms/locker & showers appeared to be very clean at the start of the day - we left at 1:00 & they still looked pretty good for the amount of people there. We opted for the locker $10.00 ($5.00 fee & $5.00 refunded if you return the coin before you leave) & $5.00 for a lounge chair - it appears you can bring your own "camping/chair in a bag" or snag one of the benches or picnic tables - once again, get there early!!! The water was extremely refreshing - for some this means cold - we come from central Florida (land of the springs) so we were prepared for the water to be cold - it really was very nice. Just jump in & go for it!!! We did order some snacks from the cafe on site - we were happy with the quality & price of the food & drinks. The menu is
posted on the website. Be sure to check out the pictures on the walls near the exits for a little history on the place. Overall the employees were very friendly, we had a great time, and will be back the next time we're in town. The only suggestion we would make is to have a separate area/line for party check in & coin return for the locker deposit, but we do understand that space & budget restrictions might prevent this.

We visited the Venetian Pool in April. There were not too many people there, but weather was nice. We were a little disappointed to find there was no food being served except some snacks, as we arrived at lunch time, so had to go find lunch then return. I put myself by the tables and chairs under the veranda, and alternated sitting there or dangling my feet in the kiddie shallow end. The teenagers went to the waterfall and had me take photos while they posed elegantly! Water temperature was warm, comfortable. We stayed for a few hours. Since we were staying at the Biltmore with an equally fabulous pool, we did not feel the need to stay too long, but since we paid to get in we wanted to make it worth it. Fun for a family outing.
