“Great Stay pre-cruise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2011

Stayed here with my family of 5 overnight before a cruise. Property was everything we needed. We stayed in the top level, closest to the beach, which gave a great balcony view. Hotel lived up to expectations and did exactly what we needed of it. Room decor was ok, but nothing extra ordinary. No complaints about cleaning or anything broken. Breakfast was as advertised with no issues. Nice large area to eat. Would not hesitate to stay again. Walk to the beach is easy and would only be topped by someone facing the beach directly.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn the night before our cruise. We did the snooze and cruise package and it was great! It included transfers to and from the airport as well as to teh cruise ship dock. It was all very easy to set up as well. We really enjoyed the wonderful free breakfast in the morning. Way more than a standard continental breakfast. We didn't get to the pool or beach as our flight came in later at night, but the hotel was very nice and I would highly recommend this hotel!!!

dtenel,

Thanks for writing about the ease of reserving our Snooze and Cruise Package. It is definitely gaining in popularity for people cruising out of Port Canaveral. And thanks for your kind words about our breakfast, also, since your stay, we have added oatmeal to the breakfast buffet. Looking forward to hosting you for your next cruise, or just a visit to the beach.

This is the third time I have stayed at this beautiful property (the first two were in Oct. 2008 and Jul. 2010). It has barely changed since I have first stayed there in 2008 with the Buddy Cruise for their pre-cruise hotel stay. This year, the Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach has hosted Buddy Cruise (a down syndrome awareness group that takes a cruise every year) for yet another wonderful pre-cruise hotel stay.

Everything about the hotel is spectacular, even for its low price range! When I got into the lobby, everything was as great as I have remembered, although the astronaut statue has been moved to the front desk from the elevator lobby. The entire lobby was immaculate, but they didn't stop there!

The room? Just like a typical Hampton Inn room; immaculate, spacious, and everything functioning properly. The differences: every room has an outdoor deck with a partial view of the ocean, and there was a little thing in the bathroom about protecting sea turtles.

The manager (Margie) was very welcoming to everyone, including the Buddy Cruise. Because I was traveling with Buddy Cruise, I took part in a special reception where there snacks, a check presentation to BC, and even an appearance by the group's mascot, Buddy! It was very tiring, although Hampton's comfortable beds helped me sleep from midnight to 6AM very well!

My wife and I have stayed twice at the Hampton Inn located on Cocoa Beach Fl. Each stay was for 10 days. To stay in any hotel room for 10 days is a stretch but the staff at this Hampton made our stay wonderful. A hot breakfast was available each morning with fresh fruit offered through out the day. And of course, my wifes favorite was the hot fresh cooked cookies in the evening. The room was clean when we arrived and was maintained dailey through out our stay. We have no complaints and we highly recommend this hotel if your planning on staying in the Cocoa Beach Fl. area. Have fun, it's only a short walk out the back door of the hotel to the beach. Wish we were there!

Room Tip: Higher rooms offer the best view of the ocean. Room must be on beach end of building to enjoy the be...

Stayed here before and after our cruise. Good location and only a short walk behind hotel to the beach. Used Travelynx van service to get to and from Port Canaveral but you have to have reservations to be picked up at the port or they can't take you. Approximately $12 round trip if the hotel makes the reservations for you. An expediter was at the port and the hotel to make sure every thing ran smoothly. Room was clean and standard Hampton free breakfast. The staff were great and able to get early check-in at 9:30 after our cruise so we didn't have to wait in the lobby for a room.

So glad you chose us for your pre-cruise stay. As you mentioned, we do our best to let our guests get into their room, regardless of what time you arrive. If we have your roomtype available we will check you in to it upon arrival. We have a great transportation company, and you are welcome to park your car here during your cruise so you can save money on the parking fees at the Port.

Thanks again,

Average rooms. I have had better rooms at other Hampton Inns. The rooms are clean and serve the purpose. The shuttle service to the cruise ships is worth the money! Great value and service!

Thanks for complimenting our shuttle service to the Port. We feel it is a good value and service. I was somewhat distressed to read you comments about our rooms. I will share our comments with our staff, as we strive to offer the best rooms among Hampton Inns. Hopefully you enjoyed our private balconies and microfridge. I hope you will stay with us on your next cruise.

Thanks,

My husband and I spent a week at the Hampton Inn in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Every aspect of our stay was excellent. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The view from our room was nice. We could see both the ocean from the rear of our room, and the Banana River from the balcony at the entrance. The room was very clean and comfortable. We did not experience any noise or inconvenience of any kind. Beach access was a very close and easy walk. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the breakfast area was well-maintained by hotel staff all throughout.

The location of this hotel in relation to the beach and local tourist attractions was very convenient. We visited the Kennedy Space Center, the Brevard Zoo, and Lone Cabbage Airboats while we were there. All were within about 20 minutes driving distance.

One of our favorite restaurants while visiting was Milliken's Reef in Cape Canaveral. The atmosphere was very elegant and nice. The food was delicious and there was live music being played. They had an amazing saxaphone player who went around to different tables and played. After dinner we sat outside by the water and enjoyed more music.
