We stay here every year. The staff was super. We were there to check in a day early and they were able to accommodate. We also had another room the next day and we were able to get into it at 10am which was great. The rooms are clean and I slept very well on the beds. The sofa sleepers are another story. We asked for a board and was given a piece of poster board it seemed like. We had an ocean view and an ocean front room and the ocean front room has a fantastic view. We were on the 7th floor. Even the ocean view was great on the 7th floor. The ocean was awesome. Smitty does an excellent job maintain the chairs and umbrellas and makes sure you are taken care of. The kids had a great time in the pool. I understand you have to have bands but is it really necessary to have a drill sergeant walking around.

Room Tip: The higher up floors give you the best view from either side of the building.

This resort is the cleanest I have ever stayed in. I am a florida resident who stays by the ocean regularly. The rooms are not humid and don't have mold. No sand in the hallways or rugs. The sheets are super soft, bed is not lumpy like others mentioned, plenty of room to move around in the unit. . We have an end unit so not only do we have a view of the ocean and the bay, we have extra windows/ light in our unit. The pool area is clean and fun. Ocean access is easy. My son is enjoying the tennis courts, basket ball court, pool, movies and activities. One reviewer mentioned the security at the pool was overwhelming. As a unit owner, I appreciate someone telling people to follow the rules (not that there was an issue) and I know our car is secure from break ins. I like that The elevators are fast moving. Plenty of handicap access and facilities for wheelchairs, even a pool lift. Our only complaint is the food and service at the Mexican restaurant. The bartender is great, but the dining experience wasn't.

Room Tip: Arrive early, ask for a floor above 3rd floor, if you can't get ocean front, an end unit is grea...

We have been timesharing for almost 20 years and have been to over 60 different resorts. This is our first time here and hopefully will not be the last. We had an ocean view(509) and loved the mornings and evenings on the balcony. Certainly the best ocean balcony of the many timeshares we have visited. Very clean for an ocean front resort. Furniture better than most ocean front resorts. Much quieter than most resorts. Very nice workout room. Hotels are easy to rate because prices usually range from $50 to $200/night and value is very important. Timeshares are harder to rate because when you trade with points the price is somewhat hidden. This room was easily worth $200/night and a great value compared to most timeshares, but we find it hard to place it in the top 10 we have visited. However, it is in the top 5 of continental U.S. resorts. No timeshare updates pressure which was a welcome surprise. It is very close to a 5 rating.

Room Tip: The ocean view is ideal because there is no direct early morning sun and has a gentle breeze rather...

Our check-in was delayed due to lost luggage so we arrived about 7 p.m. It's about an hour's drive from the airport. The front desk welcomed us with big smiles & asked if the 7th floor would work for us. "The view is pretty nice there," she said. Apparently another guest thought that was too high. We opened the door to our 2 bedroom/2 bath unit with complete kitchen, and I said, "Oh no, Oh no." Through the sheer curtains, I thought I saw the ocean. YES!!! We had front row seats to the ocean from our patio.

The unit was spacious, cheerful (yellow walls throughout), and clean. We prepared most of our meals on site. This resort is about an hour's drive from Universal Studios (prepare to pay 4 tolls totaling nearly $5 one way) and an easy 15-20 minute drive to Kennedy Space Center. We spent lots of time gazing at the ocean and beach rentals are available. (2 lounge chairs, pads, and an umbrella for $20/day)

The resort has a fine fitness center, movie theater, an activity desk with discount tickets, a smallish pool, and the ocean just outside its doors. The beach was never crowded and the water was warm. We even saw a rocket launch the last night of our stay.

There's a complimentary mini cleaning mid week and a daily one for one towel exchange. Housekeeping staff was thoughtful and did a fine job freshening up the unit. It was refreshing to witness happy employees going about their work--everyone here smiled a lot.

We did a timeshare exchange for this property and highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Ask for room 711 if you want amazing views.

We took a few days to get away, and were hoping for a quiet, relaxing time, and we succeeded staying at the Resort on Cocoa Beach. Right on the beach, the resort is well-maintained, the grounds are pretty, and there is plenty to do if you want to. Among the amenities offered, there's a pool, pool-side bar/snack bar, a kiddie pool, and a Mexican restaurant right on-site. There are plenty to do within only a few minutes of driving, and you're only about 60 miles away from the Orlando/Kissimmee area. I highly recommended visiting nearby Cocoa Village with its quaint shops and cafes.

If you are a RCI-owner and exchanging, please be warned that you may not get an oceanside unit. We arrived early, and requested one, but were told that as an exchange, they are limited to what they make available. We had a north-facing unit on the 6th floor, which worked out fine - we had the ocean and the sunrise every morning to our right, and the sunset to our left. Aside from a very loud dishwasher, the unit itself was nice. It was clean, well-furnished, with the appliances in good working order. Housekeeping only shows up once a week, or more often if you request it and pay for it, but we didn't feel the need.

If you're looking for a relaxing place to stay, that has just about everything you might want, and is near all the Orlando-area activities, consider the Resort on Cocoa Beach. I know we'll be back!

Room Tip: If you can, arrive by 10am for check-time. The better rooms start to be assigned at this time. Req...

We have been to most of the Condos, Hotels and Resorts in Cocoa but do not look any further....this one is the best! Great staff, clean rooms and has all the utensils needed for a family weekend. We are very picky travellers and this was the nicest resort in the area.
Clean, clean, clean. We most enjoyed the beach and had drinks and apetizers by the pool, price was resonable and drinks were generous. Definetelly will be back soon!

Room Tip: Our room was #415 with a front ocean view

Our family had a great time at the resort. We have 3 kids, 7, 10, 13 and they all enjoyed the pool and beach. Definately recommend an ocean view for a great deck over looking the ocean. The staff was very friendly. Pool food and drink prices were very resonably priced and good. Great restaurants and shops nearby.
