Thanks to Ron, the night attendant at Resort on Cocoa we didn't have to stay in the terrible resort that we had made reservations for originally. We loved the beautiful, spacious 2 bdr, 2 bth condo at The Resort On Cocoa. The pool, movie theatre, and beach were awesome. We are already booked again for this coming friday night! This is a lovely family resort.

stayed during the storm Debbie. Had enough to do for the days it was bad. Once it passed back to the beach and pool. Good size rooms for 4 of us. we will be back. Great oceanfront room, view is awesome. Staff is friendly and helpful. Tiki bar should be open later, may get more night pool crowds if it is. I like that they enforce the pool bands, keeps the public crowds out of the pool.

Room Tip: the higher the room the better view. ask when you check in, even if you need to wait for the room t...

This is a great place to bring the family, to come as a couple, or to come with friends to surf. The view was beautiful, the rooms were clean and decorated pretty nicely. We could walk "forever" on the beach and body surfacing was great. The hotel was conveniently located near some nice restaurants, grocery stores and surfing shops. The staff, including an activities coordinator, was very helpful and responsive to questions about the resort or about local things to do. It was interesting to see many "marsh birds" on the beach, such as, blue herons and egrets. The resort has maintained a lot of dunes and green space between the buildings and the beach which create a habitat for birds, lizards and other creatures. This protection of the natural environment was impressive to me. This is a place I would visit again.

Room Tip: Try to get above the 3rd floor for a better view of the ocean.

We stayed here for 4 nights after being in Disney for 7 days. When we arrived it was a huge hassle. First they said our room was ready and showed us a room on 2nd floor facing brush and the side parking lot. Not acceptable since I requested an ocean front view and I was paying accordingly. We had to wait 3 hours before we could get an OC view unit. I agree with some of the other reviews, the front desk staff was not very accommodating or friendly. I had to go round and round with the m to get the right unit. When arriving in our unit, it was OC view but the side faced a ugly parking lot and trash cans. The unit was very spacious and clean, but smelled very musty. The carpeting and furniture etc.. We're very dated but the kitchen did have everything needed for stay. Very nice pool, except it is surrounded by parking lot. Kids liked pool and all the stuff going on while in pool. Overall, we had a good time, but would definitely not stay here again because of the poor customer service and dated facilities. For the rates there charging should have been much better!

We stayed at the Resort on Cocoa Beach for one night before a cruise out of Port Canaveral. We liked it so much that we returned after our cruise for one night. The place is clean, the staff friendly and helpful. This would be an excellent place for a longer length of stay...right on the beach, great pool, hot tub, a small theater, rooms with full kitchens and washers/dryers. I saw many families bring in groceries and it made me wish we were able to stay rather than head to Orlando where we had reservations at a regular hotel for the week. Had we not had a conference to attend in Orlando, I would've cancelled the Orlando reservations and stayed here!

As a birthday present, my parents let me use a week at their timeshare (this was a trade). I went with my best friend and his wife and their 2 kids. I was able to check out their website with the webcam to see what the 2 bedroom/2 bath condo would like look and we got a unit on the 3rd floor. Although we didn't have a direct view of the ocean, our unit was towards the front but you could see a peak of the ocean from the balcony. The unit was very clean.

We went the weekend of Memorial day and were expecting crowds but it wasn't too bad at all. Although there were a lot of kids staying there, they were mostly at the pool (which we only did once because it was so crowded) and mostly stuck to the beach. The resort has a lot of amenities and activities (such as the onsite movie theatre, the arcade/game room for the kids, concierge help for getting discounted tickets for nearby attractions and so on). There was 2 Publix's just a couple miles down the street from the resort so that was convenient as well. We only ate out for dinner once and cooked the rest of our meals to save money.

The Kennedy Space Center is only 16 miles from the resort, so we were able to get discounted tickets for about $40.00 that were good for 2 days. I hadn't been there in about 10 years and they have added a lot since I was there last, so you will do need 2 days to see everything. It wasn't crowded at all, a lot of school groups were there but nothing like the crowds you see at Disney World.

The beach wasn't crowded at all, we did get some rain and overcast days due to a tropical depression so I guess that scared away some of the beach crowd.

I found the staff to be very friendly, check in process was easy (didn't have to wait at all in a line like some other places) check out process was the same too.

If you want to have a nice time at the beach, this is a good resort/timeshare to take the family to.

I spent a week there that just ended today June 3 2012 and the place is dirty my wife wiped up a spot on the floor and had to throw away the towel it was so dirty, called the front desk and talked to them about the dirt and they said oh well nothing we can do for you. the front desk staff was very unfriendly and rude no matter what the question or problem, the manager Sandy is very rude and not willing to help in any manner... I spoke with a couple of the owners and was told they would sell today if anyone was dumb enough to buy it. I do not suggest any one stay in this dirt infested hole..
