Spent two nights before our RCCL cruise and enjoyed the facility very much. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is very close to the beach and we enjoyed our time walking and watching the cruise ships launch from Port Canaveral.

They also have free WiFi in the rooms which is a nice touch. The connection is fast and easy. Nothing I hate more than free WiFi that takes forever to load or is painfully slow.

There are a number of really good restaurants nearby as well as Ron Jon and lots of other things. It is also less than an hour from Disney and all that Orlando has to offer. I am planning another cruise in November and will stay at the hotel again. It is about 10 minutes from the port parking area which makes it ideal for getting on the cruise and enjoying the real reason for the journey.

Room Tip: Hampton Inn shares same parking lot and path to the beach but they had TONS of children at their hotel, not as many at Courtyard.

We stayed one night before our cruise and it was great. The hotel is clean and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The beach is just a short walk through the back parking lot. The hotel is just a few blocks away from a great pizza parlor and an Italian restaurant. I chose this property because it's non smoking. If I visit Cocoa Beach again I'll definitely stay at this hotel. Shuttle service and customer service is top notch.

We arrived on a Thursday for an impromptu getaway using our Marriott Rewards points, and originally were going to stay just one night. Justine at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. Although they were sold out of the partial ocean view rooms, she told us to call her back when we made the reservation through the Rewards program, and she then found us an upgrade to a room with a Jacuzzi tub. Great room, nice bay view from the balcony, very comfortable bed, AWESOME tub, refrigerator in room. A short stroll to the beach made it a perfect night. We decided to try and stay a second night since we were enjoying it so much, and again Justine provided excellent customer service. She checked us out and back in to our room, but promised to let us know if a different room became available with a partial ocean view. As promised, Justine called our room and let us know that she did indeed find us a new room. When it was ready, we seamlessly moved from one to the other and continued our day. We expected just a glimpse of the ocean because of the "partial" description, however she hooked us up!! We had a wonderful view of the ocean, even with the other surrounding buildings right near us. The only issue we had the entire time was a small hiccup with the wifi not working the first day, and Justine quickly sent up Michael with hotel maintenance to fix it. He also provided great customer service. We needed him once more when we needed a microwave the second day for our dinner leftovers. Again he came quickly and set it up for us. Overall, our little romantic getaway was perfectly smooth and enjoyable thanks to impeccable customer service from Justine. In a world where this feels like a lost art, it was very refreshing and impressive. If you ever find yourself in the Cocoa Beach area, we definitely recommend the Courtyard Marriott.

Room Tip: If you want a great ocean view, ask for a higher level room.

Though the hotel wasn't directly on the beach, it was a nice property. The lobby area was nice and had a great choice of food and beverages. The room was perfect for what we needed. Great location and proximity to the cruise port; took about 10 minutes to get to the parking garage. As frequent Marriott guests, this met our expectations.

Room Tip: We had a decent view of the water and could see the cruises leave port, which made the kids so excited about our cruise the following day.

My daughter made reservations for us to stay the night before our Caribbean cruise. We flew into Orlando and took a shuttle to Cocoa Beach. The hotel was very accommodating. The room was big and the beds comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach which we did the morning of the cruise.
One thing to keep in mind is that a lot of other people will be taking the shuttle to the Port, so I recommend that you get down to the lobby with your luggage about a half hour before the shuttle leaves. We waited until about 10 minutes before, and we even received a call from the front desk telling us that the bus was there. We waited and waited for the elevator, but so was everyone else, so after about 10 minutes, we had to take our heavy luggage down the stairs. Fortunately we were on the 2nd floor.
When we returned from the cruise the hotel let us store our luggage in a locked room for the afternoon because we had a later flight. We hung out in the lobby where there is WiFi and computers to use. We also walked down the road to Ron Jon Surf Shop and to a Pizza Parlor to have lunch.
