Wouldn't know How it was because they immediately told us they wouldn't take resturant.com coupon because it was a weekend. When I showed her the coupon said the only exclusion was holidays, she said it didn't matter what the coupon said they wouldn't take it. So we left.

In Oct 2010, the Balton family took the helm of this charming and historic bar/restaurant in the infamous yellow house in the midst of the action of Cocoa Beach. We visited twice in a six day visit finding all the food of great quality and service well above average. Menu is reasonably priced (most items $6-$10) and features fabulous fish and shrimp, ribs, wings, burgers, and a variety of appetizers. *Mr. runs the kitchen with a very discerning palette and high standards for the food products he purchases. He cooks fish perfectly and his sauces/aoili are delectable. Mrs. is a gracious hostess who keeps the locals and out-of-towners feeling equally welcome and well-served, going out of her way to ensure suitable food and drink choices as well as site seeing recommendations. *Reasonable daily food and drink specials are offered (read cheap; many around $2) and there are always $1-$2 beverage choices available. Big TVs show sports or the NASA station and DJ or live entertainment is regularly scheduled. *A perfect walking distance location, across the street from the beach and beside the Cocoa Beach Brewing Company. A pleasurable, easy place to enjoy lunch, dinner, or late night.

This place has changed names and owners many times since it was Pineapple Pointe, and it has had some ups and downs. It is definately experiencing an up now. The new owners are a hard working couple who will almost definately be working the place when you stop in. The lady bartending while the hubby cooks. They have done a great job of creating a relaxed welcoming atmosphere. I have been in this place many times over the last ten years and just learned that the windows open for a nice breeze. Anyway, the food is AWESOME!!! There is no cheating on the ingredients by slipping in cheap alternatives. This food is the real, fresh, delicious deal. I am a huge fan of the tacos, while my wife loves the "bang bang" shrimp, but anything on the menu is great. Wash it down with a mini can of beer for $1 and watch the big game on one of the many tv's in this small restaraunt with big character.
