“Great trip on Banana River”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2013

Jeanette was very informative and without being too teacher like gave you a real feel for the plants and animals. We saw a lot of Dolphins and a pod of them decided to play by the boat for about 20 minutes blowing water at us and splashing the boat. It is an experience not to be missed. We did not see any manatee but the trip was still worth it. Whilst the boat has the shade cover still make sure you have suntan lotion or a hat as you will get a fair amount of sun.

“Great fun for all ages!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2013

We where out for 2 plus hours in the lagoon searching for manatees, dolphins and beautiful birds in the Thousand Island Nature Preserve.

We were surrounded by dolphins several times during our time out. Two of the dolphins had babies with them and it was fun to see how friskie they were. Along the way we saw blue herrons, achinges and peliguns fishing. Apparently the manatees were off in another section of the preserve that day as we never located them. During our trip one dolphin managed to give the host a good shower by the flip of it's tail. She was surprised and amused since she has never had it happen before. It was a very relaxed two hours with no canned presentation. The host is constantly on the lookout for wildlife to view and very willing to idle the craft when something is near. We would do this again on our next visit to the area.

“TOTALLY AWESOME!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

We did this tour on a Saturday afternoon. The weather was perfect. We saw a large pod of dolphins, about 7. They were jumping in and out of the water, and kept following the boat irt was really awesome! We also saw two smaller pods. We only go to see 1 manatee and she did not come up p the surface, so we really did not see her. Captain Jeanette was really nice and I can not think of her friends name at the moment they were both super nice. They had water and soda for us should we get thirsty. Our daughter had a nice time too! She is almost 6. They gave her a really neat coloring book of all the animals we may see on the tour. They also let her pick out two shells of their treasure box. They let her "drive" the boat. She go a kick out of it! Oh! We saw a lot of osperee, 2 great blue herons and a coopers hawk.

It was lots of fun! Small group too not over crowded. There were 11 of us total, My husband daughter and I. Captain and first mate, and 3 other couples.

THANK-YOU for an awesome tour!!!!!!

“Experience nature up close!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013 via mobile

We took the 10am trip; there were 7 passengers and 2 crew. It was fantastic. Jeanette stopped whenever we saw wildlife. You could take all the pictures you wanted. We saw numerous dolphins, manatees, and a variety of birds. As a lifelong resident, she was extremely knowledgable. The trip is so relaxing and enjoyable. Soft drinks and water are provided. They also have binoculars for your use.

“What an awesome trip!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013

My wife and I made reservations for the 10am eco-nature cruise. Even though no one else signed up for this particular time, as this is a slower season, Captain Jeanette was more than happy to take us on what turned out to be a private tour. We saw numerous types of waterfowl, and many dolphins and manatee. The trip is reasonably priced, and at 2.5 hours is a good length. Jeanette was great. She is friendly and very knowledgeable, and a wonderful guide!
