“Local "no frills" atmosphere but great seafood and friendly service.”
Reviewed October 13, 2012 via mobile

We ate here with friends who came to visit. After eating the night before at a more established seafood chain in Cocoa Beach we thought we would try our neighborhood place. The Cape Codder beat them hands down and was much less expensive. Our friends went crazy over the belly clams and the fish sandwiches were amazing. They also had these fresh asparagus spears lightly battered in tempura and we couldn't get enough! Awesome. The decor is simple but that doesn't matter. The staff is friendly and efficient and food is of good quality, fresh and tasty. Really delicious. We will go back again and again. Nice job!

“Awesome...Best authentic New England Seafood around”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

Don't let the outside of this restaurant fool you..inside you are treated to the best service and freshest seafood in Cocoa Beach. The decor is simple, yet immaculate, and the servers make you feel like you were visiting your best friends for a New England clam bake! Although I did go off the deep end and have fried clams (I never eat fried food...well almost never ;-) they were incredible!! The whole belly clams were not greasy at all and just like I remember them when I was living on the Cape. Salads were some of the freshest I have had as of late. My husband had scallops and he who complains about almost every dining experience, said he would drive all the way from our home in Tampa to have the scallops again!! So in closing The Cape Codder is a must see when in the area...Awesome food, Awesome service..Keep up the good work.

“Good for fried food”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

Enjoyed this - would recommend if you like fried foods. Had clams and scallops and both were crisp, fresh, and not at all greasy. Very very casual diner, but not sure I'd wait in line for this.

Did not care for the mushy peas, it was a tiny side but really not worth wasting the peas.
