Flavours are good, service is good, nothing to complain about.

Prices are reasonable, it's not the best Mexican in the area I think. El Toucan takes that one, but a good meal can be had here.

The food at Chaparral has little flavor and tastes as if it spent waayyy too long on a heating tray. There is nothing fresh or authentic tasting here. Three of us tried varying items from chile relleno to enchiladas to a burrito. All tasted as if they had been made way earlier and heated in a micro wave oven. The sauces tasted as if they came from an Old El Paso can. We were very disappointed. While the service was great, we would recommend that you keep on driving and not bother to stop at Chaparral. There are so many good places to eat in the Cocoa area, I'm sorry to say that you don't want to waste a meal here.

mY HUSBAND REALLY LIKES IT HERE. I however do not share his opinion. He likes the Cuban menu... Im not a big fan of cuban food so I always choose off of the Merxican Menu. I have yet to have anything good. The Mariachi band it good. The free chips tasted like flour! I ordered a Tostada this time and it was served with a hurge thick slice of tomato on top... kinda awkward to eat. The food was barely above Taco bell..granted it was a tostada. I have ordered the Rancho Huevos and the Chimichanga in the past and both were an unremarkable disappointment. The Management really need to check the restaurant for dust.. I have a big problem eating surrounded by nicknacks coated in dust, fans and lighting fixtures and vents fuzzy as well. I wont be returning..Husband can go alone :)
