All we can say was that this place was perfect! WE went back and forth before our honeymoon, and couldn't decide on a hotel to stay at. We finally decided on the Holiday Inn. From the moment we walked in the door, it was amazing. The front desk was the nicest I've ever experienced. We hung out at the pool and tiki bar every day. Cabana Bob was the best. The bartenders at the tiki bar were awesome! And the restaurant/bar was great! We ate there every morning for breakfast, and a lot of times for dinner. There was not one complaint about the hotel or staff. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who was visiting the Clearwater Beach area.

Myself and two of my friends stayed for a long girls weekend trip at this hotel. The hotel was beautiful and far nicer than most of the other hotels in the area. The hotel staff was very friendly and willing to meet our every needs. The room was very clean and the staff made sure to give us plenty of fresh towels everyday. We had a city room view which was fine because the pool/bar area was usually pretty busy until around 1-2 am.We did have some problems with people being loud in the hallway becuase there was a wedding the weekend we went. I also felt like the rooms were not as private as they should be because I was woken up several times by a baby crying in the room next to us in the middle of the night. We felt like we had everything that we needed with in the hotel itself. We ate at Jimmy's dining several times for breakfast and it was very good; except for the bird they call "George". This bird comes every morning and will nip at your food behind your back, its very annoying to have to watch over your shoulder and to shoo away a bird all through your breakfast. The wait staff was very polite and so were the bar tenders. The pool is very nice and clean and the small tiki bar poolside is also vey refreshing. The little area by the pool that sits on the beach is beautiful as well. It gives you the sense of being at the beach with out the mess of the sand and all of the crowd. The only thing we didnt like about the pool was that you had to "check out" your pool towel becuase too many people were bringing them to the beach. It was kind of annoying to have to " check out and in" a towel. The hotel is with in walking distance to IHOP, Walgreens, and many other shops and fast food. The hotel is about a 5 min walk to the beach which really isn't a big deal. There are so many resturants around this location it is perfect for any age. Although there were some minor things we had problems with I overall really enjoyed our stay and we will be back to visit again ! ! !

Nice beach location. Stayed there on a PC reward night and got and upgrade and welcome package as a PC member. Do not remember the official rate, but would not pay more than 150 $. Some of the staff are average, others very friendly. Seems that some area's of the hotel could use some renovation. Overall, would say "nothing special, but nothing wrong"

Room was handicapped, hotel claimed we booked a HC room. When informed that we did not they claimed Price Line booked it that way & turned up their noses that we used Price Line, in other words too bad, so sad, should have gone through us. Wife wanted a tub vs HC shower and there was no counter for toiletries. Dumb thing is suppose a handicapped person actually needed a room!

Hotel tried to "upgrade" us to suite but wanted $20 more per night. All this and you get to pay $10 per day for the pleasure of parking in thier lot too! Other rooms did not have tub or did not have king bed. One even said, no view. Well thats the one we want-NOT. No offer to change room after Sunday when many other rooms were available.

NO INTERNET ACCESS in room until last day. Hotel knew half the rooms access point was down and did not fix for 4 days. This was a business/pleasure trip. Had to sit in lobby to get access. Only one public PC in lobby that was always in use. USELESS

Light bulbs are so low wattage that you can't read in bed at night. Had to call maintenance just to figure out how to turn on due to handicap switch.

Elevator so slow we took the stairs the entire time and we were only on 2nd floor. Pity people on upper floors.

Only good thing about this experience was gym equipment is pretty good, maids were excellent even making origami type animals from towels and the front desk girl did try to do what she could.

Can assure you we will NEVER stay at the Holiday Inn on Clearwater Beach again.

I spent 1 night in the hotel in February with my friend and we enjoyed the place. We got a room with full sea view and it was absolutely worse the money we paid (nearly USD 200) for the night. The parking place is good and you can easily walk to the senter, where you have some nice restaurants and bars.
Make sure to go to the sunset party which is really an extraordinary experience.
The entrance hall is a little cold and not really inviting but the staff is really helpful.
Ask them to send you to the boat tour were you could see dolphins in their natural environment, it is cearly an experience worse the day.
Overall a great place and really chaming.
