Cute little restaurant right off of the bridge. Food was very good. Atmosphere was cozy. However, when I asked to substitute the potatoes and vegtables for a side dish of spaghetti, I was told it would be an extra $6. Come on! It's an Italian restaurant for Pete's sake. They had plenty spaghetti dishes and this would have actually saved them money if you compare the relative cost.
Sigh...

I recently had a late dinner here with a friend. After not knowing where to go, our hotel concierge recommended this place because it was close to our hotel and we wanted to be able to walk. Many of the restaurants we tried had long wait times since it was a Saturday night. We called ahead and were told they were on a 20 minute wait. I asked if they could add us to the list and was happy when they told us they could. After a short 5 minute walk, we arrived and were seated immediately outside. The service was great- quick, polite and very helpful. I ordered crab ravioli and my friend had the gnocchi. Both were very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The dress code seemed casual to dressy casual. Some people ha tshirts and shorts and others had on jeans and a nice shirt. The restaurant is right at the corner coming over the bridge from Sand Key into Clearwater. Great location.

We were greeted by and I was wished a happy birthday by Cesare, who makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable in his restaurant. He often checked up on diners regarding their experience and seemed genuinely grateful for diners choosing his establishment. The staff and service were quick and good. We ordered fried calamari and were served complimentary bread and oil, which were all delicious. We were informed the food ingredients are fresh and not frozen. Our pastas (veal parmesan and agnolotti) were so delicious, we were craving more. Although we were expecting a finer dining experience rather than this casual restaurant and were expecting a location on the beach as advertised in its name rather than this place located in a strip mall next to a highway barely overlooking some water, our overall experience was quite enjoyable.

We lived in Italy for several years and Cesare's lives up to its heritage. We enjoyed the meal and the service was very good. Cesare came out himself to make sure we were having a good experience.
