We enjoyed our first time dining experience for lunch at Frenchy's Original Cafe in November. We all had the grouper sandwich in various forms. The service and food were okay, nothing extraordinary. Cost was a bit high for what we received.

We had the smoked fish spread, gumbo (yum), fried shrimp (awesome), buffalo shrimp, and grouper cheeks. You must order the house bloody mary! Everyone in my family was pleased. The grouper cheeks batter was a bit too thick.

Not very good parking, but the food is worth it. They have great fish sandwiches and a good kids menu, too. This location has a nice gift shop if you have to wait for a table. The fried fish is always great, but the true test is in the grilled grouper. Excellent!

Grouper sandwich didn't have much flavor. Slightly disappointed.
