Description: Waterfront dining at its finest! Family-owned & operated for more than 112 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm & award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine & wine list. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon "Columbia," & fresh seafood specialties. Sample a fine Spanish wine like Torres, Montecillo or Campillo. Don't miss our world-famous Original 1905(R) Salad, named "One of America's Top 10 Best Salads" by USA Today -- The only restaurant in Florida to be named. Whether you choose a table looking out onto the radiant blue waters of the Intracoastal Waterway from the Mediterranean dining room, or experience the casual atmosphere from our outdoor deck on the water, you can enjoy the cuisine that has consistently been voted Tampa Bay's Favorite. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. “An excellent location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2014

Situated on the boardwalk over looking the inter coastal waterway just outside Clearwater on Sand Key We dinned twice there, deciding to return for a second evening on the last night of our trip, which says something. I would recommend eating outside on the lower level close to the water. Wide choice available and the food was of a good standard. The decor of the restaurant inside was an attractive Spanish style which mirrors the menu and can see why the Columbia group has been going for over 100 years.

“Amazing salad!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2014

I love the salad at Columbia! It is a Cuban Sandwich in a salad. We often share as an appetizer. More often, we call and order salads to go. It is our go to meal before we get one the plane to head back to NY.

“Popular but disappointing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2014

This looked like a promising restaurant judging by its popularity but we were rather disappointed. You can sit indoors which has a nice South American/Spanish feel or you can choose to sit on the terrace. Most people rave about the sangria but we watched it being prepared and it included a large amount of sweet syrup! The menus were food stained and had turned up corners- not a good first impression. The staff were pleasant and efficient but the food was just average.

Thank you for taking time to leave us details about how we can do a better job. It is not acceptable for our menus to be food stained and tattered and we will share your comments with our manager to remind the team that this needs to be fixed.

“a regular, special occasion stop”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2014

unique dishes that you will not find anywhere else. they've been doing this for over 100 years and they've got it down pat. Never had a bad meal here and staff (except gift shop girl) are very pleasant and knowledgable.

“Great dinner and great service ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2014 via mobile

We always enjoy this location. Late dinner on a Sunday night. Delightful waitress. Great sangria and of course my favorite, the 1905 salad. Husband had an entree. I had a tapas for dinner. No pressure to order more. Love this restaurant and this location. Can't wait to return.
