First of all, Nature's Food Patch just completed a face lift and renovation, so the place looks great and is more comfortable for shopping. Next, you really have two venues under the same roof.
One is the cafe with new outdoor seating. Patrons pick up their food at the hot and/or cold tables inside, pay for it, and then carry plates into the cafe. Everything is organic with many vegetarian choices. Selections change daily. Always busy and a growing hangout for the locals.
Then you have the other half of NP which is a natural foods grocery store. This is to die for and, even though expensive, always crowded with a growing clientele. But then, I have never seen a good natural foods grocery story that was not expensive. You will find products here that you simply never see in any other grocery store. If one is into a more healthful way of eating with a penchant for organic, raw foods, vegetarian, and sustainable farming -- then this is the place to shop no matter what the cost. However, they do put a number of products on sale every day so it is possible to shop here and still stay within budget -- or at least close to it. They also have once a month discount days. Meat eaters will like the meat and fish counters and the vitamin and supplement center is outstanding.
To put it simply, if you want optimum health and to live to be 100, then NP specializes in the type of food you should be consuming. And it tastes great too!
