The rest of the reviews do a good job with describing how good the food is... There's no questions about that! What made this place stand out was its hospitality.

Michael, the owner spent a good amount of time walking us through the menu, providing recommendations, giving ideas for things to do, places to see, etc.

Finally, after a good meal and conversation, Michael inquired about dessert and we turned him down (we were stuffed!). He quietly went back to the kitchen and returned with a big piece of tiramisu!... On the house!! There's one rule that my husband and I always follow in restaurants... If it's on the house, we never turn it down!!

It turned out to be THE BEST tiramisu we ever had... Hands down, no questions asked. Thanks Michael!

My partner had spotted this place on Trip Advisor, being number one we decided to give it a shot. When we first walked past it was shut, and didn't look like much, to be honest we thought it was a takeaway. We still wanted to try it even if we had to have take out, but to our surprise upon entering it was a cute little restaurant with tables on the patio, overlooking the bay. Service was quick and personable, teamed with excellent food - an enjoyable surprise. Would definitely visit again when we are back in Clearwater. Note to English wine drinkers that are familiar with the over sweet American wines, they have Italian Pinot Grigio at $6 a glass- bonus!

My wife and I are from NY and relocating to FL to live. While there, we stayed in Clearwater Beach. We went to Tripadvisor to find a place to eat. We found Pizza Bizzar being the top rated place in Clearwater, and decided to go. WOW WOW WOW. This place is in a strip mall, but it's totally worthy of having a stand alone building. This place is AMAZING - from the food to the service. Our server was Vasilis - and literally the best server we've ever experienced EVER. The food and service was so good that we went two nights in a row. The first night we had Greek garlic bread. WOW. AMAZING. We knew we were in for a treat after having that. Then came the prosciutto pizza. Again, AMAZING. We are from NY - but this was by far the BEST we have ever had. The second night we had the sausage mojito pizza (been back in NY for 24 hrs, and my wife is still talking about that pizza). Again, WOW. For desert we had the Limoncello Marscapone cake. The cake rivals anything you'd eat in a NY bakery, and it's all hand made! I can't begin to say enough things about this place. Had it not been tripadvisor that night, we would have had no idea about this place. Residents in and near Clearwater should be very lucky for having food and service like this so close. When we move to FL - we'll be loyal customers for life. Vassilis and Michael - you guys truly wowed us - and we can't wait to see you guys again! PS - Vassilis, hope you enjoyed your game of FIFA 13 that night. Your friends, Angel and Al

Looking for a good meal on a chilly, foggy night. Decided to give Bizzar a shot because of the great reviews on TA. Totally worth it. The service was fantastic! Menu is perfect, great descriptions, and variety- they serve both pizza and Greek food. We ordered the garlic bread appetizer- which is a perfectly cooked thin crust pizza with olive oil, garlic and some other seasonings. Delish. Then two 10in pizzas- one was a "mojito"...which had a rum sauce, and homemade italian sausage. The other was the "four seasons" with mushrooms, salami, pepperoni. Wow, not sure which one was better. Both sooo good! The pizza crust is thin and crispy- loved every bite. They have beer/wine (including Greek options) and some amazing looking desserts. Don't be discouraged by the distance from the main hotel area... About 1.5mi. Totally worth the trip.
