Went for brunch with my husband before a day of shopping. We were greeted by friendly staff at the entrance wishing us a happy new year. After being quickly seated we were impressed by the menu - there was certainly something for everyone!

Our dishes were delicious and I was so happy to see real maple syrup on the menu. We did have to pay a tad more for it, but it was well worth it (1.29$).

The restaurant was super clean, bathrooms as well. I would definitely recommend.

“First Watch? I’ll Wait for the Next Shift!”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

Somehow this place has gotten a good reputation for breakfast in Clearwater. I’m not really sure why.

It is kind of hidden on the back side of a shopping center. While it is large and clean, it isn’t really inviting. Upon entering, no one is anywhere near to greet or seat you and there is no sign indicating whether you should seat yourself. Eventually someone walks by and tells you to seat yourself and you wander around looking for a clean table.

The menu is promising in that there are lots of items not on your standard breakfast menu. I tried the chikichanga—a specialty of the place. It is a sort of chicken and avocado breakfast burrito. The tortilla was gummy and there really wasn’t much flavor to the interior. The small fruit side was nice and fresh and the grits were OK. Also, the water tasted odd which made the coffee also a bit off.

Nothing really stood out and there would be no reason for me to return. Breakfast is all about comfort. The setting, the welcome and the food were not, in any way, comforting.

“Every kind of pancake you could think of-mmm good!”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

We stopped here for breakfast during our stay with family over Labor day. This fantastic breakfast place is hidden, had my daughter not went with us to show us we would never had stopped as it is not visible from highway 19. I am a pancake lover and they have so many varieties of pancakes to choose from, carrot cake, pecan, blueberry, and many other types. The menu has lots of healthy choices which my wife appreciated. They have so many types of egg styles with various fresh vegetables and cheeses it is hard to choose. I am a breakfast lover and will go back here again when visiting family. The food was great right down to their local coffee. The service was excellent.

“In the mood for a delicious late breakfast?!”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

We started our morning off a little late but still wanted breakfast & by this time most places were preparing for the lunch crowd. Thanks to our GPS we found this place. It's entrance is NOT facing the rest of the shops in the square so it was a little challanging to find. Regardless, it served us up a traditionally delicious breakfast. Enjoy!

“consistently good”
Reviewed May 16, 2012

For breakfast or lunch, or a blend of the two, there's just no place better than First Watch...quick coffee to the table and a well prepared and presented meal. A good place to go when you want to talk with your companion since the noise level is well below what you will find in a lot of similar restaurants. Fairly healthy meal options also.
