Ate here for breakfast this past week after a recommendation from a family member. I had the "Killer Cajun" omelet.

Food: Omelet tasted fresh and was seasoned well. Not much chicken inside, average amount of cheese, 3 small slices of mushroom on the top with a very small container of the Sante Fe sauce. I thought the size of the omelet was very small for the $8-9 price with a small side of potatoes. And no extra points for the potatoes (browned and diced), which were barely average in taste and a good number of them burnt. I ordered a glass of water as a beverage, and the taste was downright disgusting. If I had less manners I would have spit it back in the glass instead of swallowing it. In retrospect, perhaps I made the wrong choice. (Attention Tampa Bay restaurant owners, please invest in a water filtering system. If most McDonalds and Taco Bells can afford it, you can, too.) I reordered a glass of lemonade for $2.50-3, and it was overly sweet so I could barely finish it.
Ambience: Very nice facility for a diner, about average for most chain restaurants.
Service: Good and attentive
Price: High for the area, in my opinion, for the amount of food on the plate, and the disappointing potatoes.

Overall, I really wanted to like First Watch as I like the idea of what they're doing. I'll give it one more try before I write it off and move on to the many better places in the area.
