We were very excited to see that this bar had finally opened for business on our most recent trip to Clearwater. We made our first visit on a Saturday evening about 10pm. You would have thought we were invisible, as it took the staff at least 5 minutes to very briefly drop by our table with a menu before walking away again. We took this time to take in the view, which is undeniably awesome, but ended up leaving very shortly after as it was a bit too breezy for our liking & still had not received service.
The next day, about noon time, we decided to give it another go. The restaurant appears to be "seat yourself" style, but we were quickly shooed away from our first choice of seating, claiming it was "reserved" (but not marked as such??) Once we successfully seated ourselves elsewhere, we waited...and waited....and finally got up and got our own menus, only to be informed that their minimal menu choices were even more-so, as they were out of over half of the items listed. We again chose to take our business elsewhere without any notice by the minimal staff on-hand.
Definitely a disappointing experience for all the hype it's been given as of late. I hope they are able to step up their game to match the awesome location they occupy.
