I got a flyer on my car for this place and it looked very good so I thought I would give it a try. I was so glad I did because the food is great. On the surface it is just a little bistro serving pizza and such but I have a weakness for Philly cheesesteak so I ordered that. It was dreamy. The proportion of each ingredient was perfect. The roll was pleasingly fresh and toasted just right, making it a complement to the flavors it encased rather than just a container for a sandwich.
One time they had a daily special of 1/2 a roasted chicken. Well, this was a problem for me since I was there for the Philly cheesesteak but I could not resist and ordered the chicken. I was not disappointed. The chicken was expertly prepared with herbs and the skin was so tasty and the chicken so moist I asked for it again. It can be served with a side salad and ended up being a healthy meal.
I ended up having a conversation with the owner and discovered he is a Culinary Institute of America trained chef. Then the pieces started to come together and I understood how he demonstrates such competence in such modest surroundings.
The prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the food.
In addition to the indoor seating, there are tables outside so when the weather is right you can enjoy your meal al fresco.
