After spending a week at international drive ,we went to Clearwater for a weekend. There was eight of us altogether 2couples with grown up children. The rooms were large clean and nicely decorated. The view from our room was fabulous looking directly onto the beach. We were on the tenth floor and had been a bit concerned incase as the bar was on this floor it would be noisy, not at all.We went to the bar to join in the countdown of the sun going down,It was stunning to watch. The breakfast was ok no complaints.Really enjoyed our stay

Room Tip: Beach view is beautiful

We stayed at Pier House 60 for 7 days. Nice hotel. Very, very clean. Great location. We had a king room with a balcony and views of the Clearwater marina, the harbor and a partial view of the gulf.

Took the Supershuttle from TPA so we did not rent a car. The hotel is within easy walking distance to a lot of restaurants and activities. Beach is across the street.

Breakfast was simple but all we needed. Water, coffee, juice, milk, cereals, bagels, oatmeal, muffins and a hot item.

I would definitely recommend Pier House 60!

Nice, clean hotel. Nothing terribly fancy, but everything was very clean. Staff was friendly enough. Stayed in a room with a king and a balcony with a view of the harbor. Turns out the balcony was unnecessary because of the extreme heat and humidity of Florida in July, we weren't out there longer than a couple of minutes. Hotel has a great location within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and bars. Price was good

Only real negative is the breakfast. The area where the food is located is way, way, way too small. People waiting on a (worn out) toaster were constantly blocking the breads and yogurt. They have 2 "hot" items, but many times in our 4 day stay, at least one of them was cold. (Hot biscuits and cold gravy). Most other times, the hotel was out of something and hadn't restocked. You can get cereal, milk and no spoon one day, the next you will get cereal and a spoon, but no milk. The hotel needs to do something about this, because most of the guests are walking away from the breakfast unsatisfied and upset.

In short, good place to stay, but go elsewhere for breakfast.

Stayed with my husband and two teenagers for one night in a bay view room with balcony, the room was large included a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker, the balcony was a great asset as we could sit outside and enjoy the views of boats coming and going out of the marina and enjoyed the morning sun. The beach is a 2 minute walk across the road and is superb, the pool is small but gets the afternoon sun and really with the beach on your doorstep you really only use it for a dip after the beach. The hotel is central to everything (restaurants, entertainment) beds we're comfortable, house keeping was very good, bathroom was spacious and supplied bath and body works products (which I love). Breakfast was plentiful, enough to fill you till lunch time. It included cereals, waffles, toast, bacon, sausages, eggs, fruits and also hot and cold beverages. Staff where friendly and efficient. Parking $15 per day. Really liked it and hope to stay longer next time.

the hotel didn't have much atmosphere. It is, however, a clean, fairly new hotel right on the strip if you are looking for someplace close to the beach.

The breakfast was very average and the staff at reception seemed disinterested, at best.

We were here for New Years' Eve and to head to bowl game in Tampa. The cold, rainy weather did not help.

After spending a week in Cocoa Beach we decided to drive to the west coast of Florida on a whim. On the drive over my wife looked up locations to stay and somehow we lucked into Pier House 60. We had already booked a sunset cruise on the Calypso Queen and the person we booked with suggested that we stay at the Pier House 60. It was our family of 5 and they were able to put us in a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper with a balcony overlooking the water. We were only there one day, but we plan on going back and staying a Pier House 60. The rooms were very clean, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and we couldn't beat the location!
