“The pier must be better a night?”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2013 via mobile

We stopped by the pier after lunch on a Saturday, however there really wasn't any entertainment or vendors. It isn't like other piers around the country that have a lot of activity on the weekends. From signs at the entrance it appears most of the activity is before and after sunset.

“Great Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2013

To walk the Pier is free. There are also many shops, places to eat and things to do nearby. Just walking out the pier was fun for the kids. We even made friends with a Brown Pelican that seemed to like my daughter.

“Great at Sunset”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

Every day, weather permitting, you can walk the length of the pier where you will find artisans selling their goods. From pieces of artwork painted on canvas, to custom made art designed by you with the help of two photographers who have catalogued thousands of pictures from the area and beyond (all their own work). Walking most of the pier is free. Towards the end there is a payment collected to go further and it is mostly done by those who wish to fish on the pier.

In addition to the crafts being sold, the pier is a great place to view the sunset over Clearwater Beach.

“saturday nights on pier 60”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

What a great time. All sorts of vendors set up on the pier, there are generally musicians playing, great mix of locals, families, and visitors, and after dark you can hope to see the fire spinners out on the beach. Really great way to spend a few extra hours on the beach on Saturday evenings.

“Nick the escape artist is a must see!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

2 hours before sunset and 2 hours after, every night, this pier comes alive. Our favorite act is a father-son juggling/comedy/Houdini style. Nick (?) the son is extraordinary!!! Make sure you find their show, usually done at least twice a night. He did the impossible and then was open to posing for pictures. A class act!! Only wish there were more local vendors to check out.
