We had a great time walking the beach and the pier. Here we're vendors nightly that sold quite unique items. We experienced buskers for entertainment, they were very professional when it came to money and good at their craft. They certainly provided a show that they said hey would. The view was fantastic from the end of the pier, although it cost $1.00 per person it was a small token to pay. The beach area was very clean and well lit for night walking.

Staying close by and read about Pier 60 in an ad. We went around 6:30pm. CAUTION !!! You park your car and then pay for parking by inserting a charge card into a machine, get a receipt which has to go on your dashboard. There are only two buttons. Hour and MAX...well my hubby hit the MAX by accident, and it cost us $9.00 to park for two hours !!! Later in the week we went with another couple, and they did the same thing !!!
There are vendors selling their goods on the Pier. Not very expensive. Something for everyone. We saw a few really good shows. Fire Dancing, magic, dancers. They all work for tips and really work hard. They do continuous shows. Worth visiting, but not worth the parking !!

The entertainers there are good especially the farther and son juggling act. The piers venders were very unique and interesting. Out at the end of the pier is the best place to watch the sunset. It cost .50 per person but well worth it.

The pier was okay. The street entertainment was interesting for kids to watch and its something to do at night but if you miss it, no big deal. The vendors were ok but none of the stuff was anything unique that I had to have. To go all the way to the end of the Pier, which I do recommend is 50 cents per person. You can a see a fantastic sunset there. The pelicans seem to be okay with humans and will pose for pictures. I happened to catch a view of about five dolphins from there one of the evenings I went out there. Great to take pictures of your trip there.

After raining every night of our week long vacation, we finally got to see a sunset on the pier our very last night. It was beautiful! There were lots of vendors there. I loved the one that takes pictures of objects to represent letters. I bought a bunch of souvenirs from him. There were pelicans on the pier, which was really cool too. Some of the street performers were kind of tacky, and begging for money, but most were fine. It was also cool to see some of the fisher men's catches.
