Stay away during Spring Break. Everything is overcrowded, long lines for food, too crowded on the pier to enjoy anything, and no parking to accommodate these crowds. Was here a few years ago not during Spring Break, and it was more enjoyable. Traffic on State Road 60 was a parking lot coming and going from Tampa to here. Would never do this again.

I enjoyed some of the artists & wished there were more original talented artists showing & selling their creations. Loved the leather bracelet artists! Overall nice to have for something more to do & see! The performers had crowds, not really my taste but I can see some finding it entertaining. Like parts of Venice Beach, CA!

Center of Clearwater Beach This is a nice area, with the pier as the focal point and a new playground. In evening the pier is lined with merchants. It is nice to browse through the area.

We went down the pier a couple of times during our stay. You pay 50c a person to get down to the end, and more than that if you are wanting to fish. Vendors are lined up trying to sell their cute crafts and such. Nice place but didnt feel the need to go very often. It was also quite cold/windy when we went so it wasnt very populated.
