If you're nearby take a walk to the end of the pier, you can see small stalls on the way and you'll have to pay 50c to walk to the end, but the view is good and you can see what the fisherman catch, such as small sharks. If its windy take a jumper as it can get chilly at the end.

Most of the pier is free to walk on. Just the end of it has a fee, because they allow fishing there. The pier has a celebration every night. It's nice to do it if you never done it. I've done it many times and it never gets old. Parking can be a bit of a pain at times. There are artists and crafters selling their products. It is very festive and you may just see an occasional dolphin swimming by. Also, sunsets from this vista are just spectacular.

Beautiful white sand, pubic showers, children's jungle gym, parking at metered spaces, and a fun place to hang out, ride a Segway, have an ice cream, and dine at one of the many rounding restaurants.

We enjoyed Pier 60 so much we went both nights of our stay. Lots to do and see. The artists were amazing.

Took an early morning stroll on the beach and decided to visit the pier. It's simply a pier and you must pay to actually go to the end of it, but there were a lot of birds to hanging around and it was quiet when we there, so it was nice. Not a must-visit, but you may as well if you're nearby.
