Visited Clearwater beach in October and passed by Pier 60 several times. It is a good place to get some nice sunset photos, but apart from that, just ok. The stalls selling their goods aren't really up to much and not worth a second look. Who buys souvenirs from their holidays made out of seashells? It would have been nice if there were food stalls, but nothing like that, just cheap tacky tourist stuff. On the plus side, it was clean and felt safe. Nice for a stroll in the evening but wouldn't go out of my way to visit. They showed films every friday and saturday night on a large inflatable screen, in the park area next to the Pier that seemed to be popular, just bring a chair or blanket and enjoy for free.
