We decided to dine here to watch the sunset as they are located in the Hyatt Hotel, directly on the beach and the sunsets are usually spectactular. On this night, as the sun was setting a fog rolled in and the sunset disappeared. We were dining on the outdoor balcony overlooking the beach and the view is very nice other than the sunset. As we ordered our wine, we were served a special pretzel bread that was very good, something my wife and I both thouroughly enjoyed. For dinner I had blackened flank steak with horseradisih chive sauce. This came served on a bed of chorizo potato hash. The meat and the hash were excellent and the beef was a perfect medium rare. My wife had a watermelon tomato salad with a side of boiled shrimp. She said hers was great, also. The portions were generous. With the good food, we were somewhat surprised at the fact that there were few others eating in the restaurant but this may be because SHOR is a little pricey. The entrees begin at $21 and can go up to close to $40. I think their house wine is about $7.50 a glass. We had Canvas chardonnay at $8.50 per glass which is Hyatt's special wine and found it very delightful. During our dinner the service was perfect and we very much enjoyed having a wonderful dinner here. Valet parking is available and free for patrons spending $20 or more in the restaurant. This was very convenient. The next time we dine here and we will come again, we will definitely pay more attention to the weather forcast .
