“Fun way to pass an afternoon.”
Reviewed August 2, 2013 via mobile

Have been several times and enjoyed each one. Buffet meal served prior to the play with communal seating. Food is catered, good variety of choices. Tea, coffee and water served but you can bring your own beer or wine. You can reserve a table ahead of time. Cash only, no credit cards. Cheerful and attentive wait staff, deserving of a nice tip. Talented local actors. Most returnees bring a cushion to sit on as folding chairs are hard.

“Sneeze guard please!”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

OK, loved the play. Seriously. It was funny and exactly what I was in the mood to see. Lifted my spirits.

The salad was great except...it is all in large bowls on a long table with NO SNEEZE GUARD. Gross and unsanitary. Does the health department know? If they had had a sanitary salad bar I would have rated the evening a 4.

Where else can you get dinner and a show for $29. The people are nice, and the show is professionally done.

“Entertaining Evening”
Reviewed March 23, 2012

Our evening at the dinner theatre was very pleasant and the food was nice. It was like stepping back in time. First of all, they don’t take credit cards, so be prepared to pay with cash. Also, we called to reserved seats – and had to leave a message. They did call us back, and were very pleasant. We are in our late 50’s and were surprised that we were some of the youngest people in the crowd. It was interesting to see so many snow birds in the audience - even most of the actors were older. Despite that we enjoyed the evening. The food, while good was not exceptional.

We were served a buffet, with a salad bar to start. While we ate the salad, there was live music (and again, it was like stepping back in time as it was from an older era). The vegetables were fresh, and there were also some salads, and hot rolls (which were a nice touch). The main course consisted of mixed beans, meatballs, a chicken dish, salmon (that was nicely prepared), ham, roast beef, mashed potatoes (that tasted like instant), rice pilaf, and crab cakes. The food was plentiful, hot, and was nicely prepared for a buffet. The meal ended with a chocolate cake.

The theatre part of the evening was equally good. The production was funny, and the cast did a good job. Best of all the price was also a blast from the past – very reasonably priced, and well worth the money.
