The best thing about this strip mall restaurant is the view. The second are the low prices.

Our wait was lengthy but the view definitely worth it. The birds are regulars and these tiny ones love fighting for bread. It was a fun 'show' :)

Food was delicious. Typical breakfast food but enjoyable.

Our server regretfully forgot about us and our requests, twice. I had no silverware to eat for 10 minutes. We ordered a bacon side and she inquired about whether we ever got it when the bill was brought. She never once checked on us or how our food was. Oh and we waited for our bill for 25 minutes but.... Again the view somewhat compensated for it. However there was a line of 15 people outside waiting when we left and had she been prompt, they could have been served faster.

Also, she and the chef 'argued' about serving pancakes after noon. The order was submitted prior to then and if that isn't acceptable the cut off time on the menu should be updated to read 'breakfast served till 11:45'. In lieu of till 12.....

I wouldn't go back but only because I don't live here. If I did I would give them a second chance.

“Cheaper than the hotel.”

It was yummy and there was lots of it. Good diner food. We sat indoors, but there was also the option for outside eating. We would definitely go again.

“Hidden gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2014

This is a hidden gem of a breakfast place. If you are staying at the Sheraton or Marriott this would be a great alternative for a tasty, reasonably priced breakfast. We ate here a few times and also ordered take out egg sandwiches and quality was consistently good.

The menu has a good variety and some great combos available.

Service was efficient and friendly and the prices were definitely right.

“Great breakfast - nice view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2014

Excellent value and exceptional food. I had biscuits, sausage gravy (awesome), grits, bacon and eggs. Portion size was great. I'm picky about my eggs - can't stand any clear, uncooked egg whites. I complained and had more eggs in a matter of minutes, perfectly done. Coffee was good . Service was average. Expect a wait....but it is worth it. Best breakfast on the beach. Didn't have it but they had spam too!
