We waited over 30 minutes, but had a tasty and hearty breakfast.
Happy, lively atmosphere patronized by locals as well as area visitors.

Staying at the Marriott on Sand Key you can walk the boardwalk to Maggie Mae's. Went there for breakfast because the buffet at the hotel is very expensive and the food was not good. It was easy to get a table at 8am. The service was very slow even though there were several servers. Our waitress was very nice but forgot we were waiting to place our order. The food was fine. Nothing spectacular and not terrible. I would return simply because the bill was $20 for 3 people.

Great waffles with strawberries or eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc.
All menu items are very good. Good location overlooking inter coastal.
Wait staff quick -- coffee gets refilled and prices are low.
The place is not too big and there may be a fast moving wait line.

We first visited during a cold rainy day which probably had others sleeping in. We waited only 5-6 minutes and were offered coffee while we stood outside (nice of them to offer!). Once our name came up, we were offered to sit at the counter or wait another 5-6 minutes for a booth for the 2 of us. We took the counter and were very happy - food was served quick and there was always someone working right in front of me, so any request (a little more coffee, please) was handled immediately. Food quality and preparation was excellent. The next day we went, we asked for the counter again - I think it is the way to go. However, for the rest of our trip, the line outside was large and the wait was "around" 30 minutes. Dunkin was 4 doors down and held us over.

My boyfriend and I found this small, cute restaurant last year. This year on vacation, we drove 30 minutes out of the way just to have breakfast here. The staff is super friendly. You can eat outside with a great view or you can also eat inside (which we did both times). I highly recommend the banana foster french toast! :)

They serve breakfast until they close at 2:30pm; however, they stop serving pancakes at noon!

It's worth a stop!
